“Did you find Harry, Severus?” Severus nodded and distractedly accepted the cup of offered tea. “Is every thing alright, my boy?”
“Potter was at a girls house, a muggle girl and she knew who I was.’
“Really? How odd. So, Harry’s ok, then?”
“Albus! You don’t understand! A muggle knows of our world. And Potter’s the one who told her!”
“There, there. I'm sure that Harry has a perfectly good reason for telling her.”
“Well, I would certainly like to know what it is.”
“Good! You can go back tomorrow and bring Harry and his friend back here for the rest of the summer.” Albus’ eyes were twinkling madly.
“W-what?”
“You can go back tomorrow and bring Harry and his friend back here.” He repeated patiently.
“You can’t be serious, Albus!”
“Well, seeing as how I have a long white beard and don’t have black hair, you’re right. I can’t be Sirius.” He smiled as Severus glared daggers at him.
“I don’t have a choice, do I?” Albus folded his hands in his lap and looked at Severus, his eyes twinkling like there was no tomorrow.
“Fine.” He nearly shattered his teacup when he slammed it on the table and swooped out of the office and back to his dungeons.
Albus turned to Fawkes and smiled.
“You feel it too, don’t know?”
Fawkes just trilled happily.
