Little Mischievous Baby Dragon
Harry was in the process of fastening Draco's winter robes, just as he was about to put a scarf, gloves and hat on Draco, he and Draco picked up on Ron's and Hermione's thoughts. It was obvious that they were quarrelling again.
They heard Ron thinking ‘Wow Mione can you say PMS’ Hermione shrieked "I do not have PMS Ronald’ Ron replied through his thoughts. ‘Yeah Mione, you just keep telling yourself that over and over again, and you might start to believe it yourself’
Harry and Draco started laughing. Draco said between gales of laughter ‘Oh fuck, she is so going to squash his shit any minute now’ Harry sniggered, nodding in agreement.
Hermione and Ron reached Harry's rooms, and said the password, which was Padfoot. When they entered Harry's own personal common room, they noticed straight away that both Harry and Draco had been laughing.
Draco couldn't resist the opportunity, and grinned at Hermione. He asked ‘How is your PMS Granger?’ The look that Hermione had sent Draco's way, it should have had every one else cowering away with fright.
But not Draco, he didn't even bat an eye lid. He just had a look of angelic innocents on his face, innocents only a person as young as he currently appeared to be could successful pull off.
Harry and Ron couldn't hold their laughter any longer, and had to let it out, before they suffocated with the effort. They were already on the verge of turning blue.
Harry said between gasps of laughter ‘come on now, come along you three, we need to head to the main entrance with the others. Lets change the PMS subject shall we, it is obviously an embarrassing subject point for Mione’
Draco and Ron nodded. Harry then picked up Draco once he had put on Draco's scarf gloves and hat, and placed him in his arms and headed out of the portrait of Godric Gryffindor, followed by Ron and Hermione.
When they reached the main entrance, they lined up with the other students that were going to Hogsmead for Christmas presents. The grumpy caretaker was stood at the front with a list of names, and ticked each name off, as each student passed.
Harry, Draco, Ron and Hermione found a carriage all to themselves. Draco turned to Harry and stated that when he got to Hogsmead he wanted Hermione to take him into the new shop that had opened. She agreed.
When they reached Hogsmead, Harry handed Draco over to Hermione, and gave Hermione Draco's money bag, while he and Ron when in the other direction looking for both Draco's and Hermione's presents. The four of them agreed to meet outside the three broom sticks in an hour.
When Draco and Hermione reached the new shop, which had recently opened in Hogsmead, which was a jewellers that sold some of the finest jewellery around in the wizarding world.
They looked around the shop for ten minutes, before Draco spotted the perfect gift for Harry. It was a pure solid white gold necklace, which would probably reach the centre of Harry's chest.
On the end of the chain, was a white gold lion, with emeralds for eyes. The lion’s tail was entwined with the wings of a white gold dragon, with rubies for eyes.
Hermione's eyes went as wide as saucers, when she saw how expensive and unnaturally beautiful the piece of jewellery was. The necklace was worth a startling thousand galleons.
Draco swore Hermione to secrecy, that she would never tell Harry how much the necklace cost. Hermione agreed, knowing Harry would not be pleased, and would refuse to accept the gift if he knew its true value.
Hermione called the shop owner over. The owner, whom was a pretty middle aged witch, took the necklace out from the display that was encased in a box made of glass.
She walked back over to the till followed by Draco and Hermione. The woman carefully placed the necklace in pure emerald silk material, inside a scarlet velvet rectangular box. She then placed the box in a small black velvet bag, with silk cords that pulled together to secure its contents.
Hermione with Draco’s consent handed over the wizarding equivalent of credit card to the woman, and then she exited the shop with Draco securely wrapped in her arms.
They still had half an hour before they had to meet Harry and Ron outside the three broom sticks. Next they headed to the nearest book store, where Draco bought a book about Ron's favourite quidditch team. It was a book he knew Ron would not own, considering it had only been available to buy a few weeks ago.
He bought professor Snape a book on the latest potions discoveries. A book he knew Snape had been after for some time. He was rather taken back, when Hermione asked the owner if they had a copy, and it turned out that they did.
After they had paid for Ron's and Snape's gifts they made their way to the three broom sticks. When they arrived Harry and Ron were waiting for them.
Hermione deposited Draco in Harry's waiting arms. The four of them then split up again, this time Harry and Draco together, and Ron and Hermione together, as well.
They agreed to meet back inside the three broom sticks this time, instead of outside it at twelve a clock for lunch. Draco made sure Hermione held onto Harry's gift, while Hermione passed Ron's and Snape's gifts to Harry to keep hold of.
Harry and Draco headed back to the book store Draco and Hermione had just come from. Draco brought the book for Hermione that he had spotted, while they had been there the first time. But he could not exactly of bought the book while she was with him. It was a book about the most recent and most eldest of wizarding laws discoveries and events ever.
Harry knew she was a serious book worm, and enjoyed reading information about the best known and sorted after events in the wizarding world’s history. He knew she would without a doubt love the book, and wouldn't be unable to put it down once she opened it, and got a glimpse of its contents.
Harry and Draco then went to a shop that sold beautiful clothes and other objects for woman and men. Draco bought his mother a shawl made of the finest sliver silk, with gold embroidered roses and lilies on it.
He bought his father a new black cane, which had a solid silver serpents head as a handle. Seeing as his other cane was destroyed in the war at the end of last year.
Their next stop was the well known candy store in Hogsmead. They brought a variety of sweets, such as sugar quills, chocolate frogs, and many other kinds of sweets and chocolate. Harry told Draco that he would buy his, Ron's and Hermione's gift last.
Meanwhile Ron and Hermione were at Fred and George's joke shop. George took Ron into the back to show him some of their new ideas they had been working on, while Hermione took Fred to one side, and showed him What Draco had got Harry for Christmas.
Fred whistled appreciatively and said, "Fuck. I guess Malfoy really does like Harry. He added “I think he more then likes him it looks like he is in love with him, if this is any thing to go by."
When Hermione told him that the necklace was genuine white gold and cost a thousand galleons, Fred nearly choked in shock, his quick witted and sharp attitude and way of thinking left him for a brief moment.
Hermione made Fred swear not to mention how much the necklace cost. Fred agreed to keep his mouth shut, as he to knew like Hermione, that Harry would be pissed and refuse to except the gift if he new how expensive it really was.
As Ron and Hermione were leaving, and getting ready to meet Harry and Draco for lunch at the three broom sticks, Hermione let George see the necklace and his reactions was pretty much the same as his twins. And he to promise to keep his mouth shut about how much it cost as well.
When they reached the pub, Harry told Hermione to order his and Ron's usual and to take care of Draco. They would not be long, as there was something he and Ron needed to do on their own.
Harry and Ron had gone to the same jewellers that Draco and Hermione had gone to. Harry spotted a long silver necklace with a silver dragon on the end of the chain, with emeralds for eyes. The silver chain glistened brightly and the emeralds sparkled.
He knew the necklace would weight too much for a one year old child to wear, so he would have to place a lightening charm on the actual necklace.
He bought Hermione a gold necklace, with a ballerina on the end of the long chain. When Ron wasn't looking, he got him a black leather strapped watch, with a gold and silver face, which displayed the numbers.
He chose cufflinks for both Sirius and Remus. Sirius's were rubies in the shape of stars, while Remus's were also rubies, but in the shape of moons, instead of stars.
Ron brought Hermione a simple, but still beautiful pair of ear rings, as she had recently had her ears pierced in muggle London. Ron had also spotted a pair of not very expensive, but stylish cufflinks for Harry.
They made their way back to the three broom sticks once they had paid for their gifts. After the four of them had had a few drinks and sandwiches, they headed for the carriages to Hogwarts.
