Confrontation between Hermione and dumbledore
A/N Thank You for all the reviews, I am starting School again next week so I won’t be able to update so often but I will try to update once a week. Thank You for all the reviews that I got for my last chapter.
I am not online right now but thank you for the person who told me that I was spelling Macnair wrong. And for the person who asked me about why they weren’t treating Hermione as a Queen, well Voldermort is ruthless. As long as the baby is healthy then he doesn’t care about what happens to Hermione., to him she is just a pawn all he cares about is the baby.
In this chapter there will be the confrontation between Hermione and Dumbledore
Broken Inside Chapter 10
It was early in the morning and Hermione had just woken up. After untying herself from the ropes that tied her to the bed, she had gotten dressed and was just about to start reading one of the books that she had when Professor Snape walked in the room.
“Professor, are you alright after last night…..
“Yes Miss Granger I am fine, did you see them”
Hermione knew instantly who he was talking about and her heart broke as she thought of her friends down in that dark and horrible place.
“Yes Professor, I did, it was horrible……”
“Miss Granger, come with me we are going to see them again I think that we need to sort some things out”
Hermione said nothing and just followed him out of the room. Her heart pounded as they went down to the dungeons, sort some things out, surely he didn’t mean that she had to talk with Dumbledore, talk with that man who had made her life a living hell, who had not helped her at the time where she needed the most help. She saw the guards up ahead and wondered how on earth she was to be allowed in there. She head a cry of Stupefy and saw them fall to the floor. She looked over at Professor Snape who had his wand out and was smirking. He quickly pushed her into the Dungeon
“I will stand guard outside Miss Granger”
“Professor, wait”
But Professor Snape had already shut the door behind her, she heard a click as it locked.
Hermione looked around, the first thing she noticed was the coldness of the room, she shivered and wrapped her robes tightly around her for more warmth. Hermione walked up to the cage and peered in. The occupants of the cage who had not noticed her arrival, all jumped
“Hermione, is that you” Lupin said
“Yes it is, are you guys alright, “
She heard more yells of
“Its Hermione”
She looked around at the occupants of the cage, taking in their familiar faces, there was, Professor Mgonogall, Flitwick and all the other Professors of Hogwarts including Madame Pomfrey.She saw the face of Mrs. Weasley who was looking worryingly at her and the twins, including Bill and Charlie.Hermione’s eyes started to fill up with tears as she locked eyes once again with Ron and Harry, but as happy as she was to see them she had to first talk with Professor Dumbledore,he was the only one who had not jumped at her coming and looked totally unconcerned that she was there. Hermione felt anger boil in her, how dare ignore her, suddenly she heard him speak
“Good morning Miss Granger”
She looked at him, he was looking intently at her, and his eyes were twinkling, he did not look as if he was captured by Voldermort, he looked the same as if he had been at his office at Hogwarts
“Headmaster” she said in a tight voice
“I think Miss Granger, that we need to talk”
“How acute of you, headmaster said Hermione sarcastically
“Miss Granger, I know you must be upset with me”
Hermione felt herself getting really angry now
“Upset, upset, I am a bit more than upset Headmaster, I am furious. I came to you for help, and you rejected me . I came to you because I thought, Professor Dumbledore has never failed me or my friends in the past, I’m sure he will be able to help me now! But you know what I was wrong….. “
“Miss Grange let me explain”
“What is there to explain Professor, you find it so hard to believe that I could have been raped, but yet you let a werewolf teach at Hogwarts, you put your trust in Ex Death Eaters, and half Giants. You believed Sirius Black was Innocent, then why couldn’t you believe me, ,Professor WHY COULDN’T YOU OF BELIEVED ME”
“Miss Granger, you must believe em when I say how sorry I am”
“Sorry will not change anything, sorry will not erase the bruises I have, or the memories. You may be sorry Professor but that does not change the fact, that you made this happen, you made me what I am today NOTHING”
“Miss Granger, it was Professor Mgnogall speaking now, “You have every right to be angry at the Headmaster, believe me I was, but you must believe me when I say that the Headmaster was distraught over the position he put you in, and that we were doing everything in out power to get you out of here”
Suddenly the door opened and Professor Snape walked in
“Miss Granger, we must be leaving soon, the guards are starting to stir”
Hermione nodded, she felt much better, as if a large weight had been taken off her shoulders. All her hurt and anger towards Dumbledore, had not gone completely but it had helped to be able to speak freely
“Miss Granger, I hope that one day you will be able to forgive me and learn to trust me again, know that I will do everything in my power to earn your trust again “
Hermione nodded again, suddenly all the occupants of the cage who had gone silent started firing questions at Hermione.She laughed,
“one at a time , one at a time “
Madame Pomfrey, looked at her in concern
“Miss Granger, those bruises look painful, do you want me to heal them”
Professor Snape cut in before Hermione could reply
“I am afraid Poppy that that cannot happen, the Dark Lord has ordered no one to heal them, Now mis Granger we must get going. Headmaster, we will come back soon”
Hermione looked at everyone before she turned away and hurried out of the room, she did not notice the silent tears that were trailing down her face as she ran back to her rooms
A/N I an afraid that this is not the best chapter, the confrontation between Dumbledore and Hermione came out all wrong and If I have time I will fix it. I am sorry that this took so long, I had it all planned out and then I had writers block on how to start it. Please R&R, Thank You
