~The Snake and the Mouse~
The snake it slither across the ground
Hunting, hunting for his prey
Through field and meadow
Through swamp and lake
It has chased its elusive prey
Once caught within the sight of the snake
It shall hunt and hunt till it’s caught its prey
The cold does not deter it
And neither does the heat
It must catch this mouse it must catch his elusive prey
The pain of hunger driving the snake on
The mouse always one step ahead
Escaping by just a whisker
The snake smiles at the cornered mouse
Thinking that he has won
A fight ensues and only fate can choose who the victor shall be
The mouse begins to cry
The mouse begins to scream
The mouse grows bigger and bigger still
It begins to change it begins to shift
The mouse is not a mouse but a bigger snake
Quickly the bigger snake attacks
It bites it strangles
Till the hunting snake falls upon the ground
Yet again there is a mouse and snake
One lays dyeing the other looks on in triumph
The mouse was the hunter
The snake was its prey

*parseltongue*
Harry lies down in his dorm, looking up at the ceiling. His head full of so many thoughts. One being what would happen to him and his baby and what he was supposed to do.
: Things are so damn confusing I still don’t understand why Professor Snape is being so kind to me, but I will take it while he offers. I need to be free and able to regroup after I have my child.
After that I will plot my revenge. Dumbledore, puppet master of the flying twats is going down:
With resolve Harry gets out of bed and makes his way out of the Gryffindor tower. Making his way to a familiar bathroom he says hello to Moaning Myrtle then turns to the sink.
*Open*
He begins making his way down the portal that opens he comes to a big open chamber. A long path way leads up to a big head made of jade. On either side of the path is water so dark it was black. As he walks down the path lanterns light up guiding his way as he makes his way to the huge jade head. He pauses in front of the head doing his best to not cringe at the sight of the still decomposing body of the Basilisk.
:There has to be more to this head then just the Basilisk while it was huge I got the feeling it was guarding more than attacking out right. I would not have killed it if it hadn’t been trying to kill me. :
He looks to the mouth of the head and prepares for an attack.
*Open*
To his surprise the mouth opens and he isn’t attacked. Nervously he makes his way to the mouth and crawls in. When the path gets big enough he can stand he looks around him in shock. The inside of the head was covered in books some looking like they haven’t been opened in centuries, in the middle of the room was an arch.
Curiosity getting the better of Harry, he goes over to the archway. Standing in front of the archway Harry sees that it looks a lot like a mirror but instead of seeing the inside of the head reflected he sees another room. Within this room three pillars stood, the first was made of ivory the second made of ebony; the third however was made of black opal. Its colors ever shifting, like oil within water.
: It cannot be the mirror of Erised so what is this?:
He reaches out to touch the mirror like substance in side of the archway closing his eyes for fear of what might happen, suddenly he feels like he is being shift and when he opens his eyes again the reflection reflected in the archway is now of the head with the books inside.
He turns around to the pillars feeling himself drawn to the one made of black opal he makes his way toward it. Slowly he walks as if he is in a trance; upon reaching he touches the pillar instead of feeling hard it feels soft. The cold he was expecting never came instead the pillar starts to shine and become translucent. Inside the pillar he sees a black rose, a sword made of black topaz and a scroll. Reaching through the pillar he grabs the three items, the pillar instantly become opaque again when he had taken them out.
Casting a quick tempus charm he sees that the hour is growing late and quickly conceals the rose, scroll, and sword upon his person he makes his way through the archway and back up to the bathroom. Looking back he realizes he now has more questions than answers.
: Why cannot things ever be simple?:
Remembering the scroll he had taken he sighs.
: Answers that is all I want, answers is all that I need.:
