Forbidden

Chapter 10

Ginny hurriedly put out the fire and they sneaked back into the castle. They both knew getting past Filch and Mrs. Norris was going to be a job. Draco slid through the front doors and beckoned to Ginny that the coast was clear. He shot down towards the dungeons and the Slytherin common room, Ginny, seeing he was gone, snuck up the first flight of stairs and along to the secret passageway Harry had shown her to reach the Gryffindor dorms without being seen. She muttered "Troll bogies" to the Fat Lady, and she called

"Who is there?" but she swung open and Ginny, hiding her face shot through, just in time, Filch came hurtling up the corridor.

"Who was out of bed Fat Lady?" he wheezed, Mrs. Norris circling at his feet.

"Didn't see them Filch."

He walked away looking as though he had missed a treat.

After readying herself, Ginny climbed into bed and smiled inwardly. She drifted into sleep with the memories of his kiss and had many more dreams that night.

As she was doing this, Draco was thinking the same thing, ignoring the loud grunts that were Crabbe and Goyle snoring. He was happy, but he remembered his family's less-than-friendly feelings towards the Weasley's though, and he was scared.
