Draco's Denials
***Sorry sorry sorry….I went on vacation and asked my friend to upload the chapters for me and she uploaded the wrong chapters. For all of you who are really confused about the LOTR thing………don’t worry it was totally my fault. The story is confusing enough without me adding more to it. Anyway I’m back now and this is the story hot off the press…..err….whatever***
Draco stood in the doorway straining to see who or what was lying on his father’s study floor. He shook his head in frustration and reached for a light switch. He let out a short yelp when his hand was slapped away. Draco felt himself being dragged into the much brighter and well lit hallway by his father.
“What is this Father, what are you doing?” Draco sputtered indignantly. That’s when he saw that his father’s robe’s were stained with a sticky whitish material.
“Oh.” Draco turned to leave but again was pulled by his father.
“Stay here. I need you to do something for me.” Draco winced and thought of the last time his father had “asked” him to do something for him. The memory charm had just about killed the girl and any respect she may have had left.
“I’m sorry Father but I have to leave. Anyways I have a date with Hermione and she might suspect something if I’m late.” Draco protested. Lucius raised his eyebrow’s and tightened his grip on Draco’s shoulder.
“I don’t approve of that Draco.”
“I know. You let me know that when you stopped paying for my university courses, and practically shunned me from any family occasion.” Draco said bitterly. Lucius laughed and released his son’s shoulder.
“You deserved it. And you can cancel your “date”. I need you to fix the Weasely girl up and send her home.”
“The what-’, Draco’s eyes widened, “Father no! She’s only a child. You couldn’t have.”
“Oh grow up Draco. I can and will do as I please and some lecture from a Muggle lover like you is not going to change my mind.” Lucius spat. Draco flinched but held his ground.
“What if she’s pregnant? Her parents know she isn’t going out with anyone? Do you ever think of anyone, do you ever-” Draco paused and then muttered under his breath,
“Do you ever spare anyone?”
Lucius sighed and tried once more.
“This is the last time I’ll tell you. You either fix the girl up and send her home or I will make sure that little Miss. Granger finds some rather uncompromising pictures of you and Ginny together.”
“I never even touched her!” Draco cried. Lucius smiled and shrugged.
“We look a lot the same, she’ll never know the difference.”
“You wouldn’t.”
“I would.”
“I hate you.” Draco whispered, biting his lip to keep back tears. Lucius put an arm around him and grinned.
“But you have such a loving and respected father Draco. You are the luckiest boy in the world. There are people who would die to be in your place.” Draco wrenched himself away from Lucius’s iron grip and glared with an an evident hatred that Lucius felt taken aback.
“If I had had the choice between being your son and dying, I’d rather have died. And one last thing,
“If you ever hurt Hermione, I will kill you.”
And with that he was gone.
