Chapter 10

The group of eighty five keepers plus Charlie headed toward the front of the school, and Hagrid\'s small house. Charlie stayed in the middle of the group, so that Harry didn\'t see him right away. The four students stood watching the approaching group with their wands drawn, Hagrid stood in front of them with a pink umbrella pointed at them.

As they drew closer to Harry, Charlie worked his way through the keepers to the front of the group. \"Harry, meet the keepers of Hogwarts advance guard,\" he said, watching the faces of the five people in front of him.

Harry smiled and stepped forward, \"What do you mean, advance guard?\"

\"There are fifty more dragons standing guard around the castle. These keepers are from around the world, and they\'ve been sent here to help us care for the dragons. We\'ll be here all year,\" he explained. \"We just need you to cast the translation spell so that they can get to work.\"

\"Are you staying?\" Harry asked in a small voice.

Charlie stepped forward, \"It was my idea, and I couldn\'t let you come back here without more protection. I don\'t want anything to happen to you.\"

Harry took a step closer to Charlie and kissed his lips lightly, \"I\'m glad that you\'re here.\"


He stepped back and began casting the spell on the large crowd of dragon keepers.

The blonde American keeper walked up to Charlie and nudged him, \"You could have just said that he was your boyfriend. You didn\'t have to say that he was your brother\'s best friend.\"

Charlie laughed, \"He\'s been my brother\'s best friend for six years, he\'s only been my boyfriend for a little over a month.\"

\"Well, you look good together,\" he said, watching the dark haired wizard casting the translation spell. He looked at the other three students standing beside Harry, \"Who\'s the brunette?\"

Charlie looked over at Hermione, \"That is my youngest brother\'s girlfriend, and one of Harry\'s other two best friends.\"

The blonde man sighed, \"Oh well, the pretty ones are always taken,\" he said as he walked away.

As the keepers headed back toward where the dragons were, Ginny leaned in close to Harry, \"Are you and my brother shagging?\" she asked in a whisper.

Harry dropped his wand, \"What makes you say that?\" he asked as he leaned down to pick it up.

Ginny smiled at him, \"The way you act toward each other, its sweet. So are you?\"

Harry looked over at Charlie, \"Ginny, don\'t you think that I would have shared at least something with you if I was?\"

\"Merlin, Harry! Do you think that I\'m that innocent? I\'ve been shagging Dean since Christmas, you can tell me,\" she whispered emphatically.

Harry looked down at the small red haired girl next to him, \"Not a word to Ron, I don\'t think that he could handle knowing what I\'m going to tell you.\"

\"You have my word, I won\'t tell Ron anything. But can I tell Hermione?\" she asked, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

\"I\'ll think about it, let\'s meet in the room of requirement as soon as we\'re done here,\" he told her.

Ginny clapped her hands and giggled, \"I want details, Potter,\" she told him as she watched her brother watching Harry. \"You were alone with him for over a month, so I want to know everything.\"

Harry smiled at her, \"Even girls get to keep some secrets, so I\'ll be keeping a few of my own.\"

Charlie made his way to the room of requirement, he had agreed to meet Harry there after he had talked to Ginny. Harry had told him that Ginny wanted details and that he was going to give her a few, but he was keeping most of what had happened at the dragon reserve to himself. He laughed when he thought about Ginny giving any of the details to Ron, he knew that his brother didn\'t want to hear any of it.

He was about to turn away, not able to find the door when he was hit by a red tornado. \"Charlie! Harry\'s waiting inside for you,\" Ginny told him. She smiled at him and gave him a hug. \"You take care of him. If I can\'t have him for myself, I\'m glad that it\'s my favorite brother that got him.\" She kissed his cheek and headed down the hallway toward Gryffindor tower. Charlie turned and found Harry standing at the door.

\"Come inside, it\'s about the only place that we can not be disturbed,\" he explained. \"Professor Dumbledore gave me permission to \'entertain you\' here, he said that it wouldn\'t do for the rest of the school to know that we were spending time alone together, so he agreed that we should meet in private.\"

Charlie stepped forward and captured Harry\'s lips in a soul searing kiss. \"I don\'t care who knows. I just want to have you all to myself.\"

Harry ran his hand across the bulge in Charlie\'s trousers, \"I\'m all yours.\"

Ginny stormed through the portrait hole and ran over to where Hermione and Ron were sitting. \"Hermione, do you have a few minutes. I found that information that we were talking about and I need to share it with you!\" she said in an excited voice.

Ron rolled his eyes, \"If you want to give her details about Harry and Charlie, just say so. If I want to know anything, I\'ll ask Harry,\" he told them as he stood up from the couch. \"I still have to owl George and break the news about them,\" he leaned down and kissed Hermione on the cheek. \"I\'ll see you when I get back.\" He turned and walked up the stairs to his dormitory.

\"Okay, spill,\" Hermione told her.

Molly Weasley was a happy woman. Harry was dating Charlie, and of all of her boys, he was the best suited for her adopted son. Harry had never experienced the love of a family until he had come to visit them in his second year, but he was one of the most caring people that she had ever met. He would be good for Charlie, maybe now he would leave his job taking care of the dragons and settle down. Maybe Severus could make a potion that would make it easier for one of them to get pregnant. Since male pregnancy ware,are, she wanted them to have a better chance than most. A small group of little Weasley-Potters or Potter-Weasleys would be a nice addition to the family, she thought as she mixed up a batch of Severus\' favorite treat.
