The Weight

James folded his arms across his chest and tried to think of what to say next.

"You know, part of me thought that maybe he was jealous that you were with Lily, so he…" Remus' voice trailed off.  "But he would never have betrayed you."

"Never," James said quietly.  "Anyway, it's not liily ily and I were truly together-you know that, Remus.  Before Lily and I had to go into hiding, I spent more time with Siri than with Lily, and you certainly spent a lot of time with Lily.  Bloody prophecy."

Remus sadly nodded in agreement.  "I think Sirius has forgiven me, but I still feel guilty about it."

"He has totally fven ven you, Remus.  Maybe I shouldn't have come down here to talk to you about it, but it's just that…well, I felt like we had to talk about it."

Remus nodded his head in understanding.  "I know, James.  I don't want this to strain our friendship."

James smiled, "You know it won't, Moony.  I admit that when I first heard that you thought him to be guilty, I was extremely upset, but I've calmed down a lot now.  To be honest, Sirius was the one who helped me to calm down."

Remus snorted slightly and grinned.  "That's a new one, isn't it?"

James laughed.  "Yeah, it sure is.  Sirius calming someone else down…"

"What else did you want to talk about?" Remus asked quietly.  "Lily?"

"Yes," James repliedbsp;bsp;"Why didn't you tell Harry about you and Lily?"

"He told you about that?"

James nodded.

Remus shrugged his shoulders sadly.  "I don't know.  I guess I just felt like Sirius deserved a second chance since he's been through so much.  It was obvious to me that Harry definitely wanted to bring Sirius back, and I knew that for Sirius to truly be happy, you needed to be with him.  I thought Harry should know about the two of you, but not Lily and myself."

"Why?" James asked gently.

"Like I said, Sirius deserved a chance to be happy.  Anyway, James, it's not like I didn't want to see you again, too!  You're one of my closest friends."

James smiled, "Yes, I am.  Remus, you've been through a lot, too, you know.  I really appreciate that you thought of Sirius and myself and our happiness, but you need to think of your own, as well.  You truly loved Lily."

"I still do," Remus remarked sadly.

"I know," James replied.  "Once Dumbledore explains what he did to bring Sirius and myself back, maybe we can find a way to bring Lily back to life."

"I somehow doubt that," Remus replied.  "But thank you."

"Did you go and talk to Remus?" Sirius asked when James entered their room.

"Yeah.  How come you're not still partying with Harry and his friends?"

Sirius laughed.  "Because Harry snuck off to the Slytherin common room to find Draco."

James grinned.  "It is a bit weird to go from seeing my son as a baby to hearing him talking about shagging a Malfoy."

Sirius smirked.  "You'll get used to it, I'm sure.  How's Remus?"

"Okay, I suppose," James replied.  "I thanked him for telling Harry about us, and I talked to him about Lily a little bit, but I could tell he didn't want to dwell on it."

"I can't blame him," Sirius said.

James sat down next to his lover and the bed.  "I feel so bad for him, though.  He loves her so much, and I just wish that he could be as happy as we are now."

"Perhaps he can."

"You mean if we determine how to bring another person back to life?" James asked.

Sirius nodded.  "I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to hear Dumbledore's grand explanation, though."

"So what should we do in the meantime then?"

"Hmm, I can think of a few things," Sirius commented as he wrapped his arms around James' body and slowly began kissing his lover's face and neck.

James moaned and returned the embrace passionately.

"Merlin, I love you, Sirius Black," James whispered as he closed his eyes.  

Sirius carefully unbuttoned James' shirt and gently took it off of his lover's body.  While Sirius pressed small kisses on James' strong chest, James opened his eyes and ran his fingers through Sirius' long locks.  

James then untangled his hands from his lover's gorgeous hair and took off Sirius' tight black shirt.  He tenderly ran his fingers up and down Sirius' chest while Sirius simply watched James.

James gently pushed Sirius down onto the pillows and climbed on top of his beautiful lover.  He started to reach his hand into Sirius' jeans, but Sirius stopped him by grabbing James' hand and kissing it.  "I love you, James," he whispered hoarsely.  

James responded by passionately kissing Sirius' lips.  Within seconds, their tongues were battling while both men rubbed their erections against each other.

"Make love to me," Sirius murmured into James' ear.

Groaning, James straddled Sirius and unzipped his tight blue jeans.  He pulled them down Sirius' legs and then tore off his lover's boxers to reveal Sirius' throbbing cock.  After stroking Sirius' erection several times, James leaned down and gently licked his way up and down Sirius' length.

Sirius moaned loudly and tugged at James' unruly raven hair.  "Inside of me now," Sirius begged quietly.  "Please James."

James hastily tore off the rest of his clothes and reached for the lubricant, which was lying on the bedside table.  He quickly put some onto his hands and his own cock.  Then, he slowly eased one finger inside of his lover's opening.  

Sirius moaned and begged for James to continue.  

James added another finger and then another.
