Hermiones New World

Chapter 1

Dear Hermione,

                As you have heard my father is now in Azkaban. With that being said, I can now be myself. I have always wished we could have been friends for reasons I cannot explain to you. My mother has invited you and your mother over to the mansion for a discussion.

That was the letter Hermione Granger woke up to. She kept rereading it in her mind to try to decode it, was it a trap or did he really mean what he wrote. So she went downstairs to find her mother to ask her what they should do. As she passed her mom and stepdad Joes room he grabbed her and asked “Where are you going?” “To talk to mom” Hermione answered. “Well moms not here” he stated “what’s that behind your back” “Nothing” she squeaked Joe grabbed her arm and spun her around and pushed her up against the wall. “Don’t lie to me Bitch” He yelled as he grabbed the letter to read “Who’s Draco your boyfriend” “No” she whimpered “He’s just a boy I go to school with” Joe pulled her into the bed room and pushed her onto the bed and whispered “I’ll show you what happens when you lie to me” She could smell the whiskey on his breath as he went to kiss her. Hermione tried to fight him off but it just made joe madder. He hit her hard across the face then started punching her until she blacked out. The last thing she heard him say is “You’re mine and only mine”

Hermione woke in her room with all her clothes torn. She knew what happened it wasn’t the first time. Joe got drunk and took advantage of her. At first it started out as a once a month thing but now he was drinking more and it became a weekly thing. Hermione knew what she had to do so she went to go get a shower and glamoured her face to hide the bruises.  She started packing her bags to leave when Joe walked into her room.  “Where do you think, you’re going” Joe asked “Away from you” She answered “I can’t take this anymore” “oh no you’re not” Joe shouted “you won’t ever get away from me” At that moment Joe threw her down on the floor and started kicking her. Hermione grabbed the baseball bat she kept under her bed and hit him behind the knees knocking down on the ground. Joe hit his head on her night stand on his way down. Hermione grabbed her bag and wand off the dresser on her way out. She headed to her mother’s room and left a note explaining everything in her drawer. Hermione went down stairs to grab her trunk with her school supplies and walked outside. She walked down to the curve and held her wand up to signal the night bus. The knight bus squealed to a stop in front of Hermione. Stan the conductor looked at her and frowned. Hermione looked back and confidentially said “Malfoy Manor Please.” Are you sure miss” Stan asked “Looks to me you need to go to St Mungo’s to be checked out” “I’m sure” she sighed “ I will be ok” The knight bus whipped and swerved as fast as it would go. After what seemed liked forever the knight Bus jolted to a stop. As Hermione stepped off the bus she was met but a huge metal fence. Beyond the fence was a huge mansion that mesmerized her. As she stepped towards the fence she heard a rustle of leaves.
