Harry look around his cupboard, it was his home and his prison. Softly cradling his ribs the five-year-old sat slowly on the bed. The most recent beating was because the teacher told his aunt that he was very talented with a vivid imagination. Just above him he could hear his aunt and uncle praising Dudley for his mediocre grades at kindergarten.
Harry never liked to cry, because he found no use for it, and it made his uncle mad. But this time Harry couldn’t help it his body raked with silent sobs, crystal tears flowing down his face. He once heard a man praying in the park asking for help from someone and the man was soon happy knowing that help would come. So, Harry closed his eyes and wished and hoped with every fiber of his being. “I want to go some place safe, where I can have people who love me. I want to go some place safe, where I can have people who love me.”
Harry repeated his prayer over and over again, until the words grew slurred and he fell asleep. Little did he know that he had a bond that felt the desire and the reason why. It quickly gathered all the magic it could and pushed it out towards Harry. The small boy glowed for a few moments before his body disappeared with a small pop.
