I don't own Harry Potter or anything from that world. I make no money from this story.
Chapter One - Homework
A/N: I wrote and posted this in it's entirety over the course of two and a half years. It obviously got taken down. Now I'm reposting. It should be up relatively quickly...except I've misplaced a few of the middle-chapters. So I have to find them again. Also, leaving orginial author's notes, so ignore all challenges, lol. ~ FA

"I hate Muggle Studies." Draco muttered to himself as he fiddled with his quill.
"Then why'd you take the class?" Harry asked from his seat beside Draco. "I mean, it is an elective."
Draco shot the Golden Boy a disgusted look before saying condescendingly. "It's a necessary course for the line of work I intend to pursue." When he saw Harry's mouth open to reply, he added. "And yes, Potter, Malfoy's do work."
"Whatever you say, Malfoy." With an uninterested shrug, he resumed working.
Sulking over his still depressingly blank piece of parchment, Draco found himself bemoaning his fate under his breath. "This is awful. Stuck in this stupid class, next to stupid Harry-bloody-Potter, writing this stupid, pointless assignment!"
Unable to help himself, Harry laughed softly and shook his head over the ferret's rambling. "What's the matter, Malfoy? Can't think of anything to write?"
The blonde sneered nastily. "Hardly, Potter. I know exactly what I'm going to write."
"Do you really, Malfoy?" Harry drawled, raising his eyebrow, both in amusement and in an irritatingly accurate imitation of his nemesis. "Then why is your parchment blank?"
"Shut up, Potter!" Draco snarled back, his cheeks blossoming with two spots of color, his eyes darkening in anger. "It's not as though you're doing any better than I am."
The Gryffindor smirked and held up his parchment, which had about nine inches of writing on it. "Actually, ferret face, I'm almost a third of the way done with the required thirty inches."
Draco's cheeks flushed a shade darker and he snapped maliciously. "I said shut up, you dirty half-breed! You were raised by filthy muggles, so of course you can do this pathetic excuse for an assignment."
"Oh brilliant excuse, Malfoy." Harry threw back his head and laughed loudly, receiving a sharp look from their Muggle Studies professor. "Just because you can't handle this assignment, you..."
"I can handle it just fine!" Draco growled. "In fact, I could easily get a better grade then anyone else!" He smirks arrogantly, his silver eyes narrowed in a silent challenge.
The brunette chuckled quietly. "Yeah, right." He then let a mischievous smile slide across his face as he called Draco's bluff. "Malfoy, if you get the top mark on this assignment, I'll do the most humiliating thing you can think of."
Draco raised an eyebrow. "Anything I can think of, Potter? No matter how humiliating?"
Harry nodded. "That's right, Malfoy." He replied, his emerald eyes shining in amusement, an impish smile still on his face. "Anything you can think of."
The Slytherin grinned evilly back. "Potter," He purred darkly, his voice sliding over Harry like liquid velvet. "You've got yourself a deal."

A/N: Okay, the title for this chapter has a double meaning. One, they're doing homework. Two, I wrote this as an assignment for English. My professor was curious about how well we write dialogues, and this is what I wrote. Hence this being all dialogue. Um, there is a plot here. I know what I want the Muggle Studies assignment to be, and what I want Draco to write. I also know what I will have Draco make Harry do. Anyone who can guess one of these, gets...um...to the answer to one question about the plot...or...um...or else they can request one scene of their choice for me to write. Just put your guess in your review and leave your e-mail addy and I'll let you know if you got it right! Please rate and review, thanks so much! - FallenAngel
