Dangerous Liaisons
The Dark Lord was still at large, Severus’s position as a spy was under threat and to make his worries worse. He was falling for Hermione Granger. Bad.
He sat in his favorite worn armchair in front of the fire nursing a tumbler of Johnny Walkers finest, ‘What should I do’ he thought to himself. ‘If I go back to the Dark Lord I’ll be killed as a traitor. If I tell Albus to shove his spying up his ass, hell he’ll turn me into the ministry as a traitor’.
He rose from his chair and began to pace the room, and then there was Ms. Granger to think of what if the Dark Lord threatened her, he had to protect her. He sighed, how could he protect her from the Dark Lord he couldn’t even protect Lily from him. He topped up his tumbler and stared into the fire. When did he begin to develop feelings for Ms Granger? Could she be the one for him? Mend the heart Lily had ripped open and left?
Or was he being stupid and only trying to mould Ms Granger into what Lily was.
With one last look at the fire Severus decided to retire for the night, putting on his cotton sleep pants; he crawled into bed and grabbed his IPod. He pressed play and closed his eyes waiting for sleep to come.
-Snape’s dream-
He was running, as fast as both feet could carry him, he heard her screams, his high cold cruel laugh. Hopefully he could get there in time to help her. To save her.
“Severus, im glad you could make it” sniggered Tom Riddle “wouldn’t want you to miss the entertainment. Crucio”
He watched Hermione begin to twitch, she didn’t want to scream, in the end she gave in. her screams echoed through his mind. He forced him self to look into her eyes, they were pleading with him to help the pain stop. He froze on the spot; He began to feel her pain. Dropping to his knees, shaking he looked up at the Dark Lord.
“What’s the matter Severus, feeling her pain? Want to take it away from her?” Tom looked her then at him. With one swift movement Tom killed her, and then started laughing and taunting Severus.

Severus woke with a pain in his left forearm and tears in his eyes, he jumped out of bed and pulled on his Death Eater robes, flooed Albus and set off out the castle gates to apperate to the meeting.
On his way to the gates he began to think ‘If I survive tonight, im going to tell Hermione Granger exactly what I think of her. Even if she laughs me out of Hogwarts’ with a loud crack, he arrived at the Dark Lords Manor. “Good Morning my lord” he said.
The Dark Lord Nodded and responded “Hello Severus.”
Severus and the Dark Lord began to walk around the courtyard, “Severus I want the Mudblood Granger to join our cause. I don’t care how you do it, I want it done.”
Severus looked up at his master, “But my lord, she would never join us. Her, Potter and Weasley are like family she would never turn against them.”
Voldemort sniggered “Is that so Severus, maybe if we dispose of her parents as a warning she will comply.” He sighed “Severus I leave this task to you, before the end of the month I want the Mudbloods parents dead. Of course my Lord” replied Severus, bowing to his master he spun on his heel and headed for the gates and apperated back to Hogwarts.
“Albus I can’t do it, No I won’t do it. I refuse to murder in cold blood the girl’s family” bellowed Severus. “You must my boy, you must. We need the information only you can provide, she will understand in the long run. After you do it, be there for her and offer your support.”
Snape glared in Dumbledore’s direction, “That would be a brilliant idea Albus; I’ll just skip in to Ms Grangers room and be like oh Ms Granger I am here to tell you your family has been killed, oh and I was the one to do it. She WOULD love me for that old man.” He said in his most sarcastic voice. He turned and left the room, robes billowing behind him.
As he reached his room he saw Lucius Malfoy waiting for him, “hello old friend” Malfoy greeted. Severus Grunted in reply, "What do you want Malfoy?" Lucius Grinned "I'm here to help with your order regarding the Granger girl."
