Disclaimer:
I wish i owend Harry Potter and its associates but unfortunatly for me it all belongs to the wonderful J K Rowling. I just puppeteer her characters for my pleasure and don't make any money out of it :)
Unexpected
Hermione Granger smiled to herself as she sat, comfortably in the extended seat of the Ministry car, between the two people who meant the most to her in the magical world. To her left a gangly, freckly, ginger boy with a heart warming smile and an outrageous sense of humour. Ron Weasly was chatting away animatedly to one of his brothers about the pros and cons of a Comet 260. On her right sat a handsome, pale boy with a mop of unruly black hair and sparkling emerald eyes, shining through from behind gold, round-rimmed glasses. Since he’d let his hair grow long, it was hard to make out the distinct lightning bolt scare, taking pride of place at the centre of his forehead. But people still recognised Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived. In contrast to Ron, harry was staring sullenly out of the car window, at the dull, grey London office blocks whizzing by. His eyes were empty and cold. Hermione wanted nothing more than for him to open up to her, let all his anguish about Sirius out, and then he might be able to become the normal Harry again. But it was wishful thinking, and she knew it. Without looking at him, she placed her warm hand over his cold one and squeezed. Then she let go, closed her eyes and settled back into the seat, until she felt the car slow down at Kings Cross Station.

Draco Malfoy huffed impatiently and flicked his silver blonde hair out of his eyes. Folding his arms and tapping his foot impatiently on the vast marble floor, he gazed around the room with a smirk on his face. This was his house now and boy did he know it. His black robes, with the silver and green Slytherin crest, fitted perfectly over his lean, athletic body. He had matured over the summer, from a haughty young boy, into a menacing young man. He had an attitude that snarled “don’t- mess-with-me” and a steely glint in his grey eyes. The door at the end of the room creaked open and a timid looking maid stepped in. Hurrying down the room to Draco, she blushed and hid her face as he cocked one eyebrow menacingly.
“Well…?” he demanded.
“I’m very sorry Master Malfoy. I was held up with something…” she trailed off as he silenced her with his palm. Kicking his case towards her, he stepped up in front of the grand fireplace. He reached into the small bag next to the hearth and flicked some powder into the empty grate. Suddenly an iridescent green fire sprung up and, without a backward glance, Draco stepped into the flames, casually drawling “Platform Nine and Three Quarters” as he went.
