Summary: Harry Potter is looking for help to fight Lord Voldemort. He
Stumbles across a book in Professor Snape's office. He takes the book
and brings someone Snape thought he would never see again.

Pairings: HP/SS, RW/DM, LM/OFC, Angel/Grieve, SB/SS (implied rape)

Now that is out of the way on with the Prologue.

Sirius Black stands up from the tear stained body of Snape. He smiles and
said, "That was the best ride. We must do this again at a later date."

Snape looks at Black with contempt and growled, "This will never happen
again. That was not for you to take and I did not give it to you."

Sirius walks away laughing.

Snape rises from the floor in pain and starts to fall back to the ground.

Lucius runs to his broken friend only to catch him before he fell all the
way to the ground.

Snape felt those arms before knowing that they were friendly and started to
struggle. He heard more than saw Malfoy say, "I will protect you, my friend.
Do not fear, I will keep that idiot Black away from you."

Two months later

Malfoy yells angrily, "Why do you keep going and try to talk to him?"

Snape cringed feeling his friend's anger as if it hurt to hear. He looked
up at Lucius and said, "I have no choice. That day two months ago is when
this started." His mouth snapped shut before he told his problem to the
wrong person.

Lucius tried to keep his anger in check, but his friend shut up at the
wrong time. He growled, "You will tell me now!!!!"

Snape, in tears at his friend's hurt and anger, cried even harder as he
said, "Black is the baby's father."

Lucius fell to the floor stunned by what his friend had just said. He
reached out and hugged his best friend. In his stunned state, he looked
at Snape and said, "Once Black knows the truth, you will never see the
child again. I will help you find a way to keep your child. Black will
have no claim on it."

Snape smiled through his tears and nodded.

Six Months later

Lucius was sitting in charms class when his bracelet sent a jolt into his
wrist. He jumped out of his seat grabbing his abused wrist.

Lilly Evans looked at Lucius Malfoy and said, "What is wrong?"

Lucius looked at her sitting next to Black and shook his head. He said, "It
is nothing for you to concern yourself with. My family has a house guest
that is with child, and I guess that the child wants to be born right now.
That is all I may say at the moment." He ran to the floo network in the
school and stepped into the flames.

Snape was yelling in pain knowing that the only way for the child to be
born is cut out.

Lucius walked out and ran to the guest room that his friend was in.

Snape looked up and said, "Where is the medi-witch? If she does not arrive,
both me and the baby will not live through this."

The medi-witch walked into the room behind Lucius and said, "I guess this
little one is ready to greet his mother." She forces Lucius out of the
room.

Two hours later

A baby's wail comes from the guestroom.

The medi-witch walks out and said, "This is highly impossible." She looks
at Lucius and said, "Your mate and daugther are doing alright. You may join
them now."

Lucius said, "The child is not mine. He is my friend and not my mate."

The medi-witch said, "The father needs to be notified of the birth. Tell me
his name and I will do the honors. The father has a right to see his child
and mate."

Lucius just shook his head and said, "I will do that myself."

The medi-witch walked away.

When she was out of sight, Lucius walked into the room. He smiled at his
best friend. He said, "I have bought us some time to protect this child."

Snape looked at his friend confused and said, "What do you mean? She needs
me."

Lucius said, "There is a book in the Malfoy Library that will send her to
another timeline, and she will have you as her mother. If we do not do this,
she will be given to Black. Is that what you want?"

Snape shook his head and said, "What will this do to her? Can I at least
have a few hours or days with her?"

Lucius smiled and nodded his head.

Three days Later

Lucius walked in and said, "It is time to give Illyana a good home."

Snape looked at him with tears falling down his cheek. He said, "I
can not give her up even to myself. She has Black in her. She is all
Snape."

Lucius said, "I have seen and held her as well. She will be safe from
the Ministry. They want her to go with her father and be away from
you." He saw his friend nod.

Snape handed him the baby with a heavy heart. He placed a note in
her blanket and watched as Lucius put his daughter in a circle.

Lucius put another note in the blanket and placed the baby carefully
on the ground in a circle. He stepped back and said, "In the circle
take the gift to another she will call mother in a different time but
same place. Never to return unless called for by family."

Light filled the room and the baby cooed. The baby disappeared from
the manor.

Snape tilted his head and listened. He fell to his knees crying.

ALT. TIME

Snape walked around the manor. He had a feeling that something was off.

The cries of a baby echoed the halls.

Snape walked up to the blanket and picked it up carefully. He saw two
notes poking this child in her stomach. He removed the offending pieces
of paper and the cries died down. He set the baby on the couch and
openned the letter addressed to him.

"Dear self,

You may be wondering about this child. Let me assure you that she is
your daughter. To save her from her father Sirius Black, I agreed with
a heavy heart that she should go to you. Sirius raped me in this time,
and Illyana is what I was given. I know that Lucius wrote to himself,
I chose to write to you.

You need to Protect our daughter from her father. Her full name is
Illyana Regina Snape. If you say that outloud, her glamour from my
friend Lucius will disappear.

Keep her safe,
Severus Snape"

Snape looked at this and said, "I will protect my daughter until the
day I die." He gasped as a light shone from the child. He smiled as
he seen her true form taking shape. He said, "I guess that was my part
of the glamour for you, my little Yana."

The Next Day

Lucius looked at his friend holding a baby in his arms. His friend
handed him a note, and he openned it. He read the letter inside.

"Dear self,

This seems weird writting this letter to myself. I must say that if
you are reading this then the child arrived safely at our friend's
manor.

Yes the child is Sev's. Her name is Illyana Regina Snape, but you
must not say that aloud for it will remove the glamour I put on the
child.

I sent her there to protect her from her father Sirius Black. He
raped Sev and Illyana was born 8 months later. Sev love the child
it broke his heart to send her there.

He will need your help to protect the child from Black. The best
way for that to happen is when she comes of age in sixteen years
you should marry her.

Tell Sev in your time that you will be her promised husband.

Keep Sev and Illyana safe.

Lucius Malfoy"

Lucius looked up from the note and said, "I will marry her and
only her when she comes of age." A light shone over the baby
and engulfed Lucius and Severus.

Severus chuckled and said, "I guess that means you will see
through her glamour as well." He turned the baby so that his
friend could see.

Lucius saw his friend turn the child and he caught a first look
at his future wife. He saw a child that had just Sirius Black's
nose but the rest was all Severus. He touched his future wife
and said, "We will be married in sixteen years."

Severus nodded and said, "Do not hurt her is all I will tell
you." He smile as Lucius nodded.
