I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
When Lovers clash
A/N: This is actually a rewrite of a story I wrote ages ago, on a different site, and under a different name. It's not going to be too similar to that one though. I liked the idea I had at the beginning but hate the way I ended it. Sky, the main character, is (hopefully) not going to be terribly Mary-Sue ish. I'll include a basic description of her just under this A/N. I moved the date of Bill and Fleur's wedding to AFTER the war, just because I wanted to. So will be after DH but not completely DH/HBP compliant.
Character description: Sky Carroll - went to Hogwarts and graduated with Bill, engaged to Bill a week before graduation. She has waist long black hair, her right eye is light blue and the left one is grey (there's a reason, I swear), she stands around 5 feet 11 inches (app. 155 centimeters), and her ears are slightly pointed at the tops (again, there's a reason).

"When will you be back?" Charlie asked.
"In a week. Besides, Bill and I still have to plan our wedding, remember? It's not like I can leave for a long time and do nothing about it," Sky answered, teasing the second oldest brother a bit.
"Promise you'll come back?" 7 year old Ginny stood beside Sky.
"I have to, you have my favorite necklace," she replied, kneeling in front of the little girl.
"No I don't," the redheaded girl's face showed her confusion.
"Then what's that?" Sky asked, slipping the necklace over Ginny's head. It was a silver cresent moon with a star attached to the bottom corner on a simple silver chain. Ginny clasped the charm in her hand. "You keep that safe for me, got it?"
"Got it," Ginny breathed. Sky embraced her quickly.
"Come here, Ron," the youngest boy, who was 9 now, always stood toward the back of the group when Sky was over unless he could get closer to her without bothering his brothers. "You'll be ready to show me that new move on your broom when I get back, right?"
"You wanna see it?"
"'Course I do," she smiled and ruffled his hair before hugging him quickly. She then turned her attention to the twins. "Do not blow up your room while I'm gone, got it you two?" She arched an eyebrow.
"But Sky!" They protested.
"If you blow it up, where will you sleep?" Sky countered, raising an eyebrow.
"Hey Fred, she's got a point," George stated.
"Fine, we won't blow it up," Fred sighed.
"Good," she hugged them both. "Percy," she turned to the third oldest brother. "relax, okay? At least try to?" Percy merely nodded so she knew he wasn't going to. She sighed and hugged him anyway. She hugged Charlie, without any words.
"You come back to us, understand me?" Molly held her at arms length.
"Now why wouldn't I do that?" Sky grinned and hugged her second mother then hugged her second father.
"Only a week, right?" Bill asked when she reached him.
"Only a week," Sky repeated. "And then we can start planning our wedding," she grinned up at him and he rolled his eyes but smiled just the same. She rested her head on his shoulder as he held onto her.
"Be safe, Love."
"Bill, I'll be at home with my parents. Doesn't get much safer than that," she reminded him. He smiled sheepishly. Sky waved once to the entire family and Apparated home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nine years later, Sky stood in the garden staring at the Burrow through the rain. She lived on the southern most coast of Greece, so the rain felt nice. She'd not been here since the day she graduated Hogwarts which was also the day before her parents were brutally murdered. She'd fled to Greece after that, not being able to stand being in England a minute longer. Now it was time for her to return home and find Bill.
A/N: I know, bad place to leave it. But I'm starting the next chapter now and will have it posted shortly. And so you know, here's a list of everyone's birthday's, when they attended Hogwarts, and their ages right now.
Bill - Nov. 1970 (1982-1989) 27
Charlie - Dec. 1972 (1984-1991) 25
Percy - Aug. 1976 (1987-1994) 21
Fred and George - April 1978 (1989-1996) 20
Ron - March 1980 (1991-1998) 18
Ginny - Aug. 1981 (1992-1999) 16
I would also like to point out that Ron was 9 and Ginny was 7 when Bill and Sky would've graduated because of when their birthdays are. It is roughly the same time of year in the bulk of this story hence why Ron is 18 and Ginny is 16. -Cora
