Stepping through Time
“What the hell is that suppose to mean?’ Hermione says as Pansy smirks from across the table at her.
”I’m just saying that if the rumors are true maybe you should do something about it. After all you’re a fucking Gryfindor aren’t you? Where is your damn bravery at?” Pansy says giggling into her cup of tea, ignoring the pointed looks from Ginny and Luna who were joining them for their weekly tea and discussion. Ginny patted Hermione on her hand
“Don’t listen to her Mia. She is just trying to provoak you like always. She doesn’t have much to say since she hasn’t picked up any courage to talk to Snape about her feelings. So she should probably think about that before she speaks.” Sending another pointed look Pansy’s direction who snorted into her tea. Pansy looked up with a smirk on her face.
“Yes your absolutely right however I’m Slytherin not Gryfindor so there. Besides I’ve been flirting with him left and right and he just pointedly ignores it. Honestly I don’t know what else to do beside maybe binding him to a chair and getting on my knees in front of him.”
”Well I don’t see that helping the situation when your done he’ll just hex you before fixing himself. You might want to rethink your approach.” Hermione before she took a sip of her tea.
“Well thank you for that fucking observation but at least I’m doing something. When are you going to have your next transformation? A week! Maybe you should transform in front of Lupin maybe if he got a whiff of your arousal he might get the general idea that your into him.” Pansy said giggling once again.
“Pansy don’t be obscene.” Luna said after trying to stay out of the conversation since she didn’t really have any love interests at all.
“Oh come on Luna. What the hell is your problem? It’s not like you don’t have someone following you around like a sick little puppy.” Pansy said as all three girls look at at Luna with curiosity.
“Your right Neville does follow me around like a sick little puppy. But that doesn’t mean that I like him the same way. It’s rather pathetic really poor thing thinks he’s in love with me. But he isn’t my type I don’t think anyways. Look I need to go we do still have homework.” She stands up from the table and picks up her book bag and starts heading for the door. She’s followed by the other three girls and exits the room of requirement.
The girls started walking down the hallway laughing and giggling about something off the topic when they passed a girl the didn’t know. They all stopped and turned to watch her with confusion on their faces. She had long strawberry red hair that came to her waist that was pulled back in a half ponytail. She wore Gryfindor robes and tie but it was her eyes that made Hermione and Ginny look bewildered. Who was this girl and why hadn’t they seen her before? She looked to be about their age which meant that she was at least a seventh year with them. The girls turned to Luna and Pansy and they didn’t miss the looks on their faces either. Hermione shrugged her shoulders and smiled.
“She must be a new student or something although Dumbledore didn’t say anything about one at the meeting last week. Oh well! Oh we have a meeting to get to guys. I don’t want Snape having kittys because we are late.”
The girls giggled and shook their heads. They continued to walk down the hallway heading straight towards the Headmasters office not realizing that things have changed. Although they did notice some of the students looking at them with weird expressions as if they didn't belong. When they reached the gargoyle that gaurded the entrance to the headmasters office and Hermione called out the password it didn't move.
"Lemon drops, Sugar Quills, CoachRoach Clusters? What the hell is your problem let me in to see the Headmaster this instant."
At the sound of her worried voice the gargoyle stood aside and allowed the four girls entrance. Hermione turned to the girls and looked absolutely flustered by the strange way the statue acted. It was as if it didn't recongnized her and didn't really want to give her entrance. She couldn't explain it but she felt that something was wrong with the situation. She had just been in the Headmasters office this morning delivering some information to him that she over heard in the Great Hall and now the password is suddenly changed and she wasn't informed. She shook the thought from her head and walked up the stairs followed by the other three and knocked on the door. She was about to find out that the situation has changed dramatically.
