A Summer of Suprises
Chapter 1
"How long do we have to live like this?" Ron asked
"Till the ministry sends us an owl telling us it's safe for all of us to leave." Hermione answered
"Bloody hell!" That could take years with all the mess `You Know Who` is causing since his return. They just might forget where they put us."
"Ron, do you really think your mum, dad, or Dumbledore will let them? We're just here, well I’m here for who knows how long, but they'll probably let you all out before me." Harry said to them
Since the Dark Lord's return nothing has been the same. The ministry can't keep tabs on Lord Voldemort and his followers. They want to keep Harry and his friends out of danger while they can. Harry, Hermione, Neville, and 4 of the Weasleys were sent to live like muggles in the United States. They aren't allowed to use any form of magic.
"But why must we live like muggles. Why couldn't they send us somewhere that we could use magic?" Ron complained
"Because we won't draw attention to ourselves this way. No one will have any reason to suspect anything." Hermione replied
"No, a bunch of teenagers living all together in this house with no adult. We won't draw attention to ourselves. Besides I’m bored."
"Well," Ginny said winking," we could always play a game."
"What kind of game?" Hermione asked
"Truth or Dare."
"That's for girls at slumber parties!" Ron exclaimed
"Okay then, Spin the Bottle."
"That's gross, you my sister and I don't want to kiss you or watch anyone else kiss you, and I’m not kissing any guys." Shouted Ron
"We can play that you can only kiss the opposite sex and NO siblings." Ginny replied
"What do you guys think?" asked Ron
"Sure, anything to stop listening to whine." Harry laughed.
"Here we can use this ketchup bottle. Everyone gather around and sit in a circle." Hermione called out, "Ginny, why don't you go first."
Ginny picked up the bottle and leaned into the middle of the circle and spun it. She watched it go around and around and withed it would point to Neville. She secretly had a crush on him for years. It started to slow down and she wished ever so hard that it would land on him. She watched and watched and it slowly passed him and landed on Harry. Wow, she thought I never would have thought this would ever happen. She hadn't had a crush on Harry for about a year or so.
"Okay tell me when its' over. I don't want to watch my sister and my best friend snog." Ron complained
"Ron, SHUT UP! You agreed to play and it's not like were going to snog. It's just going to be a kiss." Replied Harry
Harry was very happy. He secretly crushed on Ginny for about a year. He had hoped it would land on him so he could kiss her and knock her off of her feet. He stood up and walled over to where she sat, he helped her to her feet and grinned. Here goes nothing, he thought, and then he kissed her.
“Wow,” Ginny thought to herself, as Harry's tongue plunged into her mouth. Was she wrong about wanting to kiss Neville? Did she still have feelings for Harry?
This is great, Harry thought to himself. After all of his day dreams, holding her, kissing her, and all the things they could do together when her brothers weren't around. He was in Heaven and it stopped when Ron interrupted.
"Oh come on this is just gross. I vote we do something else."
"Ron it's only a game." Hermione said angrily as she watched in disgust. She wanted Harry for herself and was glad that Ron interrupted the game. "We could go for a walk and get some ice cream."
"Yes, I think we've all been cooped up inside for too long." Ginny answered trying not to let her voice quiver.
-Note- I started this story a couple of years ago. It's almost finished. It's a weird one (at least i think so lol) I won't forget about my other one. Review and let me know what you think. Next Chapter up tomorrow.
