The Burrow 2001

It was now three years after the final battle with Voldemort and their victory. With the exception of the beloved Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Sirius "Padfoot" Black, Alastair “Mad-Eye” Moody, and Mundungus “Dung” Fletcher, the side of good remained in tact.

It would be a busy few months celebrating many events in the Weasley family.
Fred, George, and Ginny had become engaged to Padma and Parvati Patil and Neville Longbottom. They were also celebrating the marriages of Charlie and Hermione, Percy and Romilda Vane, and Ron and Susan Bones. Fleur was pregnant for the second time, she and Bill already have a daughter they named Laurel Molly. Bill was promoted to the head of the curse breaker department, Arthur retired, Percy was promoted to secretary of the Minister of Magic, and Ron finally acquired his Auror license. Fred and George along with Padma, Paverti Romilda and Susan continued to run their successful joke shop, “Weasley Wizarding Weezes”. Charlie left his job as a dragon tamer in Romania to take a job at Gringotts caring for the dragons in their employee. It was there that he met Hermione again who was a successful accountant for the bank.

Kingsley married Alicia Spinnet and settled into the Ministry of Magic permanently. Severus Snape, after being saved and exonerated by Harry Potter, returned to the headmaster position after much insistence from the board of governors and Professor McGonagall. He had since married Angelina Johnson who took over as Deputy Headmistress of the school. McGonagall after marrying Aberforth Dumbledore, retired from the school and move to Hogsmeade where she helped her husband run his bar the Hogshead, with the help of Sturgis Podmore and his wife Emmeline Vance. Mrs. Figg became Mrs. Elphias Doge and moved back to Hogsmeade where they ran a bookshop together.

The school survived the attack, and most teachers and employees moved on from the shock or old age, with the exception of Hagrid (who married Olympe Maxime), Madame Pince and her husband Argus Filtch. Ernie Macmillan took over the care of Hufflepuff house, his wife Marrietta Edgecombe, took over Ravenclaw, Harry took over Griffyndor, and Pansy Parkinson took over Slytherin House (some suspect it was on the insistence of her husband, Draco Malfoy, who took over as school governor). Zacharias Smith took over the charms department, while his wife Lisa Turpin, took over Ancient Ruins. Potions were taken over by Terry Boot while his wife Lavender Brown, took over Divination. Dean Thomas took over Arithmancy while his wife Natalie McDonald, took over the History of Magic. Anthony Goldstien took over Astronomy, while his wife Hannah Abbot, took over the duties of school nurse. Michel Corner took over Transfiguration, while his girlfriend Cho Chang, taught flying and refereed Quidditch matches. Remus was invited back as Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at the insistence of the school board and gentle coaxing from Mrs. Snape. Mrs. Lupin, known to most as Tonks, filled in while her husband was “ill’. Her mother Andromeda, and her father, Ted, moved into the school to help her raise her son, Teddy Lupin. In addition to the head of Griffyndor duties, Harry also took over Muggle studies. According to popular rumor he was dating Victoria Frobisher, who taught Apparition. Neville Longbottom, took over Herbology while his soon to be wife took over Care of Magical creatures when Hagrid retired the position.

Dennis, and Collin Creevy, along with their girlfriends Orla Quirke, and Rose Zeller, took over the family newspaper business, The Daily Prophet Lee Jordan, and his wife, Katie Bell, were Quidditch corespondents for the paper. Justin Finch-Fleachery and his wife, Luna Lovegood, took over the Quibbler, making it a more respectable paper and enjoyed healthy competition with the Daily Prophet. After the unfortunate death of Madame Rosemerta, from natural causes, Seamus Finnigan, and his wife Su Li, took over the establishment. When the owner of the Leaky Cauldron became too ill to run it anymore he retired leaving it to Dedalus Diggle and his wife, Hestia Jones.Victor resigned from the Bulgarian team, and joined Puddlemere United, pleasing Oliver Wood to no end. There was even a rumor that they were seeing each other, a rumor neither has commented on.

All was well and happy for the Weasley clan and their friends. But what was not said, especially to each other, was the intense jealousy of Charlie for getting a certain wild- haired witch that every Weasley was secretly lusting after, and could quite possibly make her relationship with Charlie fall apart.
