Dear Voldemort

Title: Dear Voldemort
Author: Becky
Sumary: Someone wrote Voldemort a letter. I don't plan to write more, (though I may) but feel free to add your own 'letters to Whoever' to the story, to make it a 'Round Robin' of sorts. See each chapter for warnings
Rating: Adult
Warnings: Perhaps a bit of voyeurism, mentions of male/male

/I must be out of my mind,/ Harry thought to himself as he stared at the blank sheet of paper. Longingly, he glanced at his empty bed. No. He couldn't crawl back into it and go back to sleep--he'd never get back to sleep while the images of his last vision were too fresh. Which was why he sat at his desk at four in the mourning, staring a blank piece of parchment.

With Gryffindorish gallantry, Harry put his quill to parchment and began to write.

/Dear Voldemort--/

Harry stopped. No, that wouldn't work. It sounded too 'nice.' He crossed the words out and tried again.

/Dear Snake-Face-- /

Harry smirked. That sounded better, though it did make him sound somewhat immature. At the wise-old age of sixteen, he couldn't have that. He scratched it out.

/Voldemort,/

There, that was better. It didn't sound friendly, yet it lent him and air of adult-ish-ness. Now that he had the letter properly addressed, he was once again at a loss of how to continue. It took a few moments of intense thought, but he was finally able to think of something.

/I am writing to you in regards of your nightly 'activities.'/

Erg. It sounded like the letter his aunt once wrote to the neighbors, asking them to quiet down after dark. Still, it was the best he could come up with.

/While I understand that a man has needs--/

No! Definitely not! Harry scratched-out the words. He tried again.

/It seems that during your 'activities,' your Occlumency has a tendency to slip. When this happens, I find myself witnessing said 'activities.' To say the least, I find these 'activities' to be disturbing./

Harry re-read what he wrote. Then un-decisively, he continued.

/Please--/

He scribbled over the word.

/I ask that--/

No.

/I suggest that you clear your mind each night before--/

No!

/Either Occule your mind or quit boinking my potion's master. /

Harry eyed the words with satisfaction. They were direct and to the point. He continued:

/Sincerely--/

He scratched the word out. It sounded too damn friendly.

/H. J. Potter/

There, it was done.

The End?

I don't plan to write more, (though I may) but feel free to add your own 'letters to Whoever' to the story, to make it a 'Round Robin' of sorts. There's no need to email me to ask permission before you add something, but I do ask several things:

1. Add any appropriate warnings at the beginning of each submission
2. Keep it fun, short, and humorous.
3. Try not to contradict a previous contributor's submission with your own. The idea is to have a series of sub-plots or letters linked together to form a larger story.
4. There's no need for betas or perfection, but try to get all of the typo's out before you post.

I'd curious to see how this little experiment goes. I'm not 100% sure how an outside author adds a chapter, as I've never done it. This is pretty new to me, but I'm pretty sure you click on Add Chapter To Story' at the bottom of the page. This should open a new page that has a blank text box in it. Oh, and if someone would be so kind as to add some Harry/Snape or Harry/Draco slash in their submission for me, I would be most appreciative. :)

Have fun!
