CHRISTMAS DRABBLE
I am mainly a lurker but this little story came to mind one day and won’t leave until I get it out. Hope you enjoy. Not Beta-ed, all my own mistakes.
Christmas… I love this time of year. Spending time with family and friends, playing in the snow, relaxing by the fire… this is what I really love about the season.
I go into the girl’s room and check on Jasmine and Rose. They look so innocent laying there like two little angels sent from above. They can be little devils when awake. I think that they have been spending too much time with Fred and George with the trouble that they cause. ‘I love them to death and would not trade them for anything’ I say to myself as I tuck them in.
I then go into Paris’ room to check on him. He looks so content and peaceful laying there. I give him a kiss on the forehead as I tuck him in. I then wander downstairs in search for my husband.
“Sev, what are you doing?”
“Trying not to hex and curse the writer of these blasted instructions into oblivion!” I try not to laugh at the sight, but seeing a Potion’s Master and a former Deatheater being brought down by trying to put together a dollhouse and a tricycle is too much. Smirking at him I decide to help him out. When the house and tricycle is finished I head off to the kitchen to fix us a cuppa. I feel arms wrap around me and then a kiss on my neck.
“Happy Christmas Harry, why don’t we head upstairs and see what Santa has brought for you.” “Lead the way Sev” as I take his hand and he leads us upstairs. “I have been a very good boy this year and I wonder what Santa will bring me” I say as I start to undress Severus. Laughing Sev pulls me onto his lap and whispers in my ear “I thought you were a naughty boy and I have a very special gift for you”.
