The Beginning

The dark room was devoid of an light except a small candle that was lit in the corner. A figure could be seen hunched over a wooden table, seemingly reading. The only sounds were the pages being turned and an occasional chuckle from the silent visitor in this old library. On closer inspection the person seemed to be covered in a long black cloak and a hood, which hid the figures voice.

“What the hell is this.” The figure suddenly said. By the voice of it, it seemed to be a young man. Then the figure looked up from the grayed walls where a small clock sat It read 10:30pm.
The figure swiftly got up and with a small pop was gone. The window left open sent a small gust disturbing the candle and the page. It looked like a harmless book, just talking about fairy tailed myths.

Light all of the sudden lit the dim room when the maid opened the door and flicked the lights on. Going here and there cleaning up the small room until the maid saw a book laying on a small table. Going over she looked at the contents before closing the book and moving on. On the cover in neat red spirals it read, “The Vampire, Myth or Not?” Harmless no?

It was around 10:30pm when Draco got the urge to move around. Anything to get away from the house for a little bit. It was seriously driving him mad, with his parents nagging him. They had found out that he wasn’t first in all his classes again. It was only the beginning of Summer and he was already in trouble because of Potter and his fucking friends. Breathing deeply Draco started to relax a little, he always liked the night with the wind in his face and the darkness of cover.

He felt safer in a way, his friends on the other hand preferred the day like everyone else until they found a new night club that was. While Draco was making his way in the east district, He started to think about Saint Potter and his stupid friends again. Tightening his fist into a ball, Draco started to remember how Potter had defeated him once again in their match. Of course he was better at Potions then Potter but that little mudblood was even better. Shaking off the urge to scream, because a Malfay never screams. He started walking through the park back to his home. Hoping his mother wasn’t so mad anymore, besides it was the fastest way to get home.

Draco slowly walked back threw the dark woods of the park. Erie sounds of frogs and crickets could be heard from the darkness beyond. He felt his neck prickle at the odd sounds but he would not stop and go the other way. He wasn’t scared of some little creature in the woods, but just to be safe he polled out his wand. Tightening the wand in his hand he looked around, narrowing his blue gray eyes. He knew he was just being an idiot but he couldn’t help but think that someone watching him so he walked a bit faster, for a Malfoy. When he turned a little to glance behind his shoulder he saw nothing but the cold dark pathway. He could also see little leaves laying on the ground but nothing else.

When Draco turned back from his glance, he stopped dead in his tracks. Breathe coming out short he looked at the thing in front of him. There right in his path was a dark mysterious figure only a few feet from him. She had long silky black hair that seemed to shine in the silvery moonlight and dark cold eyes that seemed to penetrate the very soul of anyone. She had on a little dark skirt with a white puffy shirt on, she also had on high heeled boots that came up to her calf.

Draco was so engrossed in this dark angel that he hadn’t realized he was staring until he snapped out of it. “Oh… Sorry” Draco said softly, walking passed the figure. He frowned a little berating himself in his mind. Malfoys do not stare and say sorry!

When he was past her he felt a light brush of breath on his neck and turned around to face the figure. “It’s no problem. My names Michelle and you are?” She said smoothly. And Draco could of sworn she had just licked her lips. He liked men but women were also very nice, especially this one.
“Draco Malfoy, well I have to get home.”He said curtly, with that he turned and left. He needed to get home before he got punished even if this women was hot.

Michelle watched him go and decided to trail the blonde haired teen.

Draco walked a little bit more through the dark park, hearing the gravel give way under his feet. He knew he was only a block away from the magical wards that surrounded the house when suddenly felt hands on his waist pulling back forcefully. Yelling out Draco fell hard onto the unforgiving ground. He had lost his breathe and was struggling to point his wand at the attacker.

He had a curse right on the tip of his tongue when the figure grabbed his hand and twisted. Crying out Draco dropped his wand and cradled his broken wrist.

He struggled to get back up and kick this fucker, but couldn’t because he felt another pair of hands push him down making him fall back onto the cold ground. Before he knew it he couldn’t move from the floor because two beautiful men were holding him down. He turned his head trying to find his wand and make sense out of this. He felt a cold hand on his cheek as he stared up into cold eyes of the woman he had just met.

Draco struggled even more but couldn’t budge an inch. Did they do magic on him? He wanted to scream and yell for help but he couldn’t do anything, he was frozen there. He felt his heart pump heavily in his chest making it hurt.
Then he felt weight on his body and to his astonishment saw the woman on top of him moving her hands everywhere along with the two men. He was also starting to feel rather aroused and that scared him even more.

Draco tried one last time to struggle before the dark haired woman leaned close to his ear. “What’s the matter.” She said smiling and thus showing sharpened fangs. Draco was seriously hyperventilating looking at her face. Vampire’s were not supposed to be here in a muggle town, let alone attack a wizard. He was so lost in his thoughts that he hardly felt the woman slide down a little to his exposed stomach.

Draco didn’t know what was going on but suddenly felt a sharp pain that increased were his stomach was. He screamed out but a hand quickly enclosed his mouth muffling his scream. He could feel his other attackers hands on his body that were holding him down.

The pain intensified and he started to struggle more violently screaming again only to have his pleas muffled. Draco started to lose focus making his eyes water. He felt so lightheaded and his breathing came in gasps. He couldn’t struggle anymore feeling very heavy and tiered.

The pain increased just before it stopped, Draco couldn’t move and had trouble breathing when the woman’s head reappeared she had blood all over her mouth. Draco seeing this panicked and looked down at his stomach that was covered in blood. Trying to get up one of the men pushed him back down on the cold ground and that was the last thing he remembered before blacking out.

Light streamed through the window making Draco groan and move a little in the nice soft floor, he was going back to sleep when he remembered. Opening his eyes quickly and looking around, he saw that he was in his room. Was it a dream? He thought before getting up. He looked around finding his wand right on the dresser where he had left it.

Puzzled Draco looked down at his shirt before lifting it up only to see a weird looking swirl and writing on his stomach, feeling paniced he went to the mirror and saw his reflection. Fuck was the only word that came to his mind, that he was dead when his parents found out.

It was a blistering day and the breeze was just right. Under a tree in Kennedy Park, lay a boy whose eyes were as green as the grass, his hair black messy like always. On his forehead was a strange lighting bolt scar. The youth wore blue, Levi pants with a long silver chain to one side, which drug on the ground.

He also had on a black shirt with the logo of his work, “Holden Books” and headphones on, playing his favorite band, Stained. While listening, he was dosing off slowly. He knew he would soon have to get up to get ready for work, but it was so warm and relaxing under that tree, that he didn’t want to go to work anytime soon. Plus it was better sitting outside instead of inside where he would have to listen to his Aunt and Uncle. Like always, when he had first got home it was nothing but chores and yelling that was until he started applying for jobs and leaving the house more often. He knew he was pretty safe with the Order following him and all.

Harry smiled a little still remembering when he applied for the job. He was walking around looking at all the shops and watching people talk with their friends. They looked so relaxed without a care in the World while the Dark Lord was terrorizing the Wizarding World, with his Death Eaters. Harry had gripped his wand wanting to be normal for a change and be with his friends to. But he couldn’t this Summer for some reason. He was just about to head back towards his home defeated before he came across a sign that said, Help Wanted.

Harry stood there for ages until he made up his mind and decided to check it out. It turned out that a local bookstore needed someone to work and since he was bored and needed to get away from his “family”, he took the job.

Now, ten days later, he was really starting to regret having the job that deals with stupid customers and having to always help them. Now, don’t get him wrong, he liked helping people when he could, but some of them seemed to be oblivious to everything. Another thing that also had him puzzled were the murderers that seemed to be happening more often. He didn’t know what they were, was it magic related or just a muggle murder. The Wizarding World also didn’t know anything when Harry had gotten the weekly newspaper. All it had stated was that The Dark Lord could be involved.

Harry got up from under the tree and looked at his watch which said 2:30 P.M. He was going to be late again to his job, but he really didn’t care. They never yelled at him anyways, it was a book store.

The store itself wasn’t anything to be proud of. It looked broken down, with the cream colored paint chipping off and the sign on top of the building hanging crocked. No the inside was much better. They had book shelves and comfortable little lunges all throughout the small rooms. The walls were covered in posters of movies and books a like. If Harry didn’t know any better he would have thought the owner was connected to the magic World.

Signing Harry ran a hand through his untamed hair. He only had one more year of school before he was out of Hogwarts, he still didn’t know what he wanted to do with his life either.

He walked up the rest of the way towards the building, sticking his hand into his jeans he put on his name tag that proudly said, “My Name is Harry Potter, How May I Help You?” It seemed to be yet another boring day for Harry James Potter.
