Harry ducked to his right and squeezed himself into a deeply shadowed corner, his breath caught in his throat as he overrode the overwhelming urge to gasp out and catch his breath. It would not do to be found, in the position he was in if someone spotted him he was dead meat. It was times like this that Harry found himself wishing he could make his invisibility cloak a permanent part of his wardrobe, but it was far too precious to be used on an daily basis as he would have liked to.
As the noise of the pack of media hounds that had been trailing him slowly died off into the distance Harry finally dared to breath. Being a professional Quidditch player was bad enough, but when you also carried the title of ‘The Saviour of the Wizarding World’, people hounded you like there was no tomorrow.
Having finally drawn up the courage to duck back into the main corridor Harry was greeted with an angry hovering owl that proceeded to take swooping dives at him until he managed to pull out his wand from somewhere in the depths of his robes and immobilize. Cursing owls, and society and life in general Harry removed the letter from the owl and strode a great distance away, placing several halls and a thick wooden door between him and the angered animal before he even thought of releasing the spell.
Having done so, Harry promptly turned around and collapsed on one of the wooden benches that lined the team change room. Sighing in frustration he realized that he had just run about the stadium grounds for nearly three quarters of an hour avoiding the media only to end up exactly where he had first been sighted at the beginning of the whole affair.
The only difference was now he was up a letter. Deciding to see what it was about, Harry quickly broke open the seal on the plain cream envelope and pulled out a hand written letter on what looked to be very expensive parchment. The lettering was professional, easy to read, and written in burgundy ink. Harry only had to scan the first paragraph before he knew exactly what it was about.
The letter was in response to an application he had sent in to a magazine. Looking back on it now Harry was starting to wonder if he had been in his right mind when deciding to do so. The magazine was a world-renowned magazine called Boys Love, and just as the title would suggest it featured articles and photographs on the life of gay wizards.
Harry had sent an application in on Hermione’s suggestion nearly four months ago soon after he had signed up with Puddlemere United, the same time he had come out of the closet about his sexual preferences. The media scoop that month was a healthy helping of grilled Harry with a side serving of the sex life of every gay wizard on the planet. When he had gone into hiding at his best friend’s house begging for advice, the smartest witch of his whole school career had suggested that he broadcast himself to the world.
It was her belief that if every little detail about him were to be thrown to the public then eventually people would tire of what she liked to call ‘Saviour Mania’. Once Hermione had worked Harry over, convincing him that this was the best route for him to take she had filled out the application for him herself. When questioned as to why she had him send out only a single application she pointed out that as the Harry Potter, he deserved only the best and furthermore that sending off multiple applications would only cause a huge struggle in the media world. Or so she claimed.
Either way Harry had thought a joke of the idea until now. Sure he wouldn’t have minded if things had worked out exactly as Hermione has proposed they would, but that hadn’t been a possibility to him, not at the time. Now holding this letter that was inviting him to a trail photo shoot the very next week Harry found himself compelled to see the plan through. If it didn’t work then it was simply another front page story for society to chew on, if it was a success then he stood a chance of gaining an iota of peace in his otherwise chaotic life.
Either way he needed to get away for a while and try something fun, and it seemed the perfect chance to do just that had come to him in the form of this invitation. Smiling for what seemed to be the first time that day Harry got up and made to exit the changing room, peeping out briefly to check that the corridor was in fact void of crazed media representatives before sprinting off to the designated apparition spot and disapparating off to his home.

AN: It's short and unbetaed as you may have noticed but I had to write it cause it has been floating around in my head for ages. I want to continue it until I feel like I can stop thinking about it but its up to the reviewers to keep me going. So review and tell me what you guys think.
Although as of now it's going to be continued.
