Harry stood silently in the corner of his room, watching his Uncle warily.
“Please.” He squeaked, not meaning to sound as scared as he was. In fact, he was trembling from head to foot. His uncle’s face was turning a violent shade of purple as his temper rose.
“You. Little. Freak.” Each pause was filled with a slap to Harry’s face.
“Please, I can explain.” Harry whined.
“Shut up, faggot.” The room went spinning with a punch to Harry’s temple. As Harry dropped to his knees, Vernon kicked him, causing him to collapse as the air was knocked out of him. Eventually, he was able to pull himself up off the ground. “I always knew you were the biggest freak there is and this proves it.” Vernon’s eyes bulging with disgust, he looked Harry up and down. Embarrassed, Harry tried to shamefully cover himself. “Hands at your side, boy.” Vernon yelled and Harry obeyed, exposing himself. He bowed his head, the silent tears of defeat streaming down his face. “You will do as I say.” Harry whimpered in fear; not even dementors scared him so. “Take off your shirt.” Vernon ordered.
“No!” Cried Harry, his protest punished by a shove into the wall. Sobbing, he quickly lifted the baggy shirt over his head, dropping it to the floor.
“Face the wall.”
“Please…” Harry pleaded, causing another slap to his face.
“Face the wall, you perv.” Harry did as told, not wanting more punishment. He could hear the clang of metal as a belt was unbuckled, the swoosh of air, and pain-ridden screams. Screams that did not seem his own, but his they were. When his back was searing as if hot irons were pressing into him, the whipping stopped. Dropping to the floor, Harry received several kicks in the side and stomach, making him throw up on himself. Pulled up by the hair, Harry was punched, knocking him senseless…
