Walking through Hogsmead Hermione was off in her own world as the witch's and wizards all looked at her strangly more then likely trying to figure out how a old death eater like Severus Snape had scored a beautiful young witch like her.
[Hermione]Little town
It's a quiet village
Ev'ry day
Like the one before
Little town
Full of little people
Waking up to say:
[Townsfolk:] Bonjour!
Bonjour!
Bonjour! Bonjour! Bonjour!
[Hermione]There goes the Goblin with his sickles, like always
The same old gallons and knuts to count
Ev'ry morning just the same
Since the morning that I came
To this poor provincial town
[Goblin] Good Morning, Hermione!
[Hermione] 'Morning, Sir.
[Goblin] Where are you off to?
[Hermione] The bookshop. I just finished the most wonderful story
about a Duel and an Dark wizard and a -
[Goblin] That's nice. Marie! The taxes! Hurry up! )
[Townsfolk:] Look there she goes that girl is strange, no question
Dazed and distracted, can't you tell?
Never part of any crowd
'Cause her head's up on some cloud
No denying she's a funny girl that Hermione
[Wizard] Bonjour
[Witch] Good day
[Wizard] How is your fam'ly?
[Witch 2] Bonjour
[Wizard 2] Good day
[Witch 2] How is your wife?
[WItch 3] I need six potions
[Wizard 3] That's too expensive
[Hermione] There must be more than this provincial life
Hermione walked into the bookstore greeting the owner with a broad smile
[Bookseller:] Ah, Belle.
[Hermione:] Good Morning. I've come to return the book I borrowed.
[Bookseller:] Finished already?
[Hermione] Oh, I couldn't put it down. Have you got anything new?
[Bookseller:] Ha Ha! Not since yesterday.
[Hermione] That's all right. I'll borrow . . . . . this one!
[Bookseller:] That one? But you've read it twice!
[Hermione] Well, it's my favorite! Far off places, daring wandfights,
magic spells, a wizard in disguise -
[Bookseller:] If you like it all that much, it's yours!
[Hermione] But sir!
[Bookseller:] I insist.
[Hermione] Well, thank you. Thank you very much!
With that she left the shop her nose buried in the book as she walked back to the school obliviouse to all around her.
[Townsfolk:] Look there she goes that witch is so peculiar
I wonder if she's feeling well
With a dreamy far-off look
And her nose stuck in a book
What a puzzle to the rest of us is Hermione
[Hermione] Oh, isn't this amazing?
It's my fav'rite part because you'll see
Here's where she meets Prince Charming
But she won't discover that it's him 'til chapter three
[Woman:] Now it's no wonder that her name means "earthly"
Her looks have got no parallel
[Shopkeeper:] But behind that fair facade
I'm afraid she's rather odd
Very diff'rent from the rest of us
[Townsfolk:] She's nothing like the rest of us
Yes, diff'rent from the rest of us is Hermione
Just outside of the bookstore a tall man with long blond hair looked down at his sons friend watching the witch,
[Lucius] Blaise I've got my sights set on that one.
[Blaise] Hm! The Professors girlfriend?
[Lucius] She's the one - the one who's going to find Draco
[Blaise] But she's -
[Lucius] the smartest witch in town.
[Blaise] I know, but -
[Lucius] That makes her the best. And don't we need the best?
[Blaise] Well, of course! I mean we do, but -
[Lucius] Right from the moment when I met her, saw her
I said she's brilliant and I knew
Here in Hogsmead there's only she
Who is as smart as me
So I'm making plans to capture and take Hermione
[Slytherin girls] Look there he goes
Isn't he dreamy?
Monsieur Malfoy
Oh he's so cute
Be still my heart
I'm hardly breathing
He's such a tall, dark, strong and handsome wizard
[Wizard I:] Bonjour!
[Lucius] Pardon
[Wizard II:] Good day
[Wizard III:] Mais oui!
[Witch:] You call this gillyweed?
[Witch I:] What lovely quills!
[Wizard IV:] Some Frogs eyes
[Witch II:] Ten kilos
[Wizard IV:] one Knut
Lucius was trying to fight his way through the crowd to Hermione
[Lucius] 'scuse me!
[Quill merchant:] I'll get the Feathers
[Lucius] Please let me through!
[Witch I:] Thease taxes-
[Wizard V:] Those Goblins -
[Witch I:] it's to much!
[Wizard V:] the're greedy !
[Goblin] Madame's mistaken.
[Hermione] There must be more than this provincial life!
[Lucius] Just watch, I'm going to make Hermione help me!
[Townsfolk:] Look there she goes a witch who's strange but special
A most peculiar mad'moiselle
It's a pity and a sin
She doesn't quite fit in
'Cause she really is a funny girl
A beauty but a funny girl
She really is a funny girl
That Hermione
Feeling eyes on her back Hermione suddenly turned around, everyone had gone back to their work, shaking her head she walked back up to the castle not realizing Lucius was watching her eagarly.
