A/N A little bit of Angst unlike me. Here is the first in maybe three chapters. It will be short and there is an end in sight. The song is part back ground music part hidden plot.
The song is Sheyrl Crow \'Strong Enough\'

**************************************

Harry sat at the bar and stared into the bottom of his glass he could see the bar through the glass. \'Ahh\' he thought \'there\'s a problem with this picture my glass is empty.\' Carefully he placed the tumbler onto the wooden bar top and tapped a finger slowly on the bar. The bar attendant who had been quietly closing up at the other end of the bar walked down. \"Another double, please.\" Harry shook an unsteady finger under his nose. Without a word the bar man poured the drink, a task he had been asked to repeat many times over the night. It was now three in the morning and Harry was his last customer.

God, I feel like hell tonight
Tears of rage I cannot fight
I\'d be the last to help you understand
Are you strong enough to be my man?

Staring back into his drink he was pleased to see the dark amber liquid and threw half the glass back, immune to the burn he hadn\'t felt for the last three hours. Being sure not to spill a single drop he placed the glass back on the bar and began stirring a finger through the dregs of beer and liquor on the wood. First, was the unsteady rendition if you looked closely of a heart, wobbly and crooked. Laughing in his glass Harry dragged a sharp nail through the drunken etching.

Nothing\'s true and nothing\'s right
So let me be alone tonight
Cause you can\'t change the way I am
Are you strong enough to be my man?

Soon he was going to have to go home, but it wasn\'t home anymore was it? Not now he could see the mess he had left it in before storming out hell he didn\'t want to go home now. Maybe if he drank some more he could just collapse and the world would go on without him. \'Yeah\' he would like that.

Lie to me
I promise I\'ll believe
Lie to me
But please don\'t leave

It just wasn\'t fair. Looking into his glass he was surprised to see he had emptied it again. Oh well only one answer to that. Waving an arm in the air Harry gestured to the tired barman. \"Another.\" It was all he had said for the last seven hours and it was amazing that he was still conscious let alone able to speak.

I have a face I cannot show
I make the rules up as I go
It\'s try and love me if you can
Are you strong enough to be my man?

He had thought that he had finally found someone that accepted him for him and not a golden picture. Some wonderful glorious image projected by the media. Someone who thought of him as who he was a person, not superman. Slowly walking over to Harry the barman placed a hand on Harry\'s glass and did not return it. \"Hey, I asked for service. Isn\'t my money good enough for you.\" The last words slurring into an almost indistinguishable mess. He never got this drunk when \'He\' had been there to laugh with him to talk to him.

\"Sir. Go home. It\'s late, and I\'m shut.\" Huffing Harry clumsily climbed off the bar stool and nearly fell catching himself on the bar rail and slowly standing. He stumbled out of the bar into the cold night.

When I\'ve shown you that I just don\'t care
When I\'m throwing punches in the air
When I\'m broken down and I can\'t stand
Will you be strong enough to be my man?

Life wasn\'t fair. Back when he was at school he had he thought the pain would end when Voldemort was dead. Happily ever after, that was everyone had called it. Well, he wasn\'t happy, and it wasn\'t the end. He had left him and over some stupid little mistake, that he had forgotten about as soon as it had happened. The chill of the street cut through part of the fog in his brain and he clutched at his jacket and stooped sliding down a brick wall he held his head in his hands and under the street lights began to cry.

A/N All will be explained in the next chapter. Please review and tell me what you think of me trying to be serious. I am firmly standing on my sense of humour here. And if you have any suggestions for what the last song should be I am eager to know.
I have found the song for chapter two but still want the song for the final chapter please help.
Chapter Two\'s song is \'Now it\'s Over\' By Everclear from the Album \'Song\'s from an American Movie part1\'
