A/N: I just found out that I lost my baby today and I'm using this as a way to cope. I would love feedback on the writing, but please refrain from attacking anything as far as the emotions. I'd really appreciate it.
Draco Malfoy looked up at the man he loved. Their journey into each others' lives had been difficult, but he knew that they would survive anything that life threw at them. His mind drifted back to earlier that month when the potions master had given them all they needed to expand their family. The smiles and looks exchanged would stay with the blonde forever. It was an intimacy that he needed with his husband and had been lacking due to his own personal issues coming along to destroy his self esteem little by little.
Draco was pulled from his thoughts as Harry grunted one last time above him. He smiled and stroked the brunette's hair back from his sweaty brow. "Are you alright?"
Harry pushed up onto his elbows and smiled. "Better than alright. I just wish that you could wait for me to...you know."
"I can't help that I'm hyper sensitive." He laughed. "Those potions just made me unable to control myself anymore. Of course you did a good job of that already..."
Harry shook his head in amusement and got up. He cleaned the two of them off and held out his hand to Draco. "Shower?"
Draco nodded. "Absolutely." He wondered if this was the night. They'd only been trying for a month and Draco insisted time and again that he couldn't possibly get pregnant after only one month, but Harry and Hermoine had rolled their eyes and told him that anything was possible. He dared to hope as he joined his love underneath the steaming hot water.
