The corridor was quiet; not even the thudding of footsteps could be heard. Remus and Sirius followed close behind Hagrid as he led them to a small, black door. “Sorry fer the secrecy, but Dumbledore wanted the most quite space.” Hagrid explained as he opened the door. Inside it was empty except for a long, black table, around which were seated ten people.
Dumbledore sat at the end of the table, with Professors McGonagall and Snape on his right and left. Next to them was a strange redhead with green eyes. “Beautiful eyes” thought Remus, but just as he had they changed to blue. He blinked, perhaps a trick of the light, and looked at the others.
Dumbledore stood up, “This is Kingsley Shaklebolt” he introduced, “Nymphadora Tonks, or just Tonks if you please\" Deladus Diggle, Sturgis Podmore, and.\" hem.\" Mundungus Fletcher\". Sirius beamed at the slightly drunk man. \"Here is Hestia Jones, and the Real Alastar Moody.\"
Mad-Eye\'s eye had been on the three in the doorway since they arrived, obviously checking their pockets for any listening devices. McGonagall pulled up three chairs with her wand, \"Please sit down\". Remus passed by the redhead, Tonks, and snuck a glance at her. To his surprise she smiled at him. Dumbledore cleared his throat. \"I have gathered you all here today, for some of you may know, To reinstate The Order of The Phoenix. We are facing a great danger, The beginning of The Second War. We will need many people, and much more defense, If we plan to rise against Voldemort and survive.\"
McGonagall stood up, \"As all of you here know the crucial key to our fight is Harry Potter. He is the only person who can defeat the Dark Lord. He needs constant supervision, lest any danger come to, or from, him.\"
Sirius chuckled; he knew Harry and Ron\'s knack for getting into trouble. \"Aurther Weasly is watching him at this moment, and we have Arabella Fig, a confidante of Dumbledore\'s, to keep tabs on his whereabouts with the Dursleys.\" At the mention of the Dursleys Hagrid muttered \"dirty, neglectful, muggles.\"
Dumbledore then turned to Sirius. \"You have assured us Number 12 Grimmauld Place is entirely unplottable, invisible, unfindable.\" Sirius interrupted \"Uninhabitable.\"
\"Never-the-less, this is where our Headquarters will be located.\" \"I shall be Secret-Keeper, just in case, and if there is any other business let it be known now, or we shall adjourn until tomorrow morning.\"
No one obviously had anything else to add, so the group began to shuffle out in two\'s and three\'s.
