Unforeseen Circumstances

This is the first fanfic I’ve ever written. So please review and let me know if it’s any good, what should/could be altered or if I should, according to my best friend let the devil read it and see if hell finally freezes over, don\'t know what that means but ok.
I would like to note that my English is quite adequate but if something should have slipped through the cracks of my mind and I’ve written something odd that doesn’t make any sense: please tell me! Also read and review all reviews will be read, nice or not, I appreciate honesty.

Secret Revealed
“Beep, Beep, Beep”
“Christine, Adrian, wake up, your going to be late for work”
“Argh” “Beep, Beep”
“Girls Wake UP!!!!” “Beep, Beep” Arguing continues in background
This was a normal routine in the Matias house. Every day for the past 16 years, Mrs. Matias had the dreadful task of trying to wake up her 16 year old twin daughters on time, and every morning she would hear the same response. But this morning was different. Instead of hearing the double dose of “I don’t wanna” and “go away mom” she only heard it from one. To her surprise her youngest of the two, Christine, was awake, dressed, bathed, and on her way down to breakfast when….“Knock, Knock, Ding dong” was heard throughout the house.
Since Christine was the only one properly dressed, she answered the door.
“Hi, can I help you?”
“Actually we are looking for a Mrs. Cathy Matias”
“Oh that’s my mom, I’ll go and get her. Um can you please tell me your names.”
“Why of course. My name is Albus Dumbledore and this is my associate Ms. Minerva McGonagall.”
“Well ok, please come in and have a seat, I’ll go and get her now.”
With that Christine at the speed of lightning, ran up the spiral stairs of her home and into her mothers room screaming..
“Mom there are two strange people downstairs, sitting in our dining room, wearing cloaks when it is has to be 90 degrees outside. The said their names were Albus and Minerva”
Suddenly Adrian storms into the room.
“You could not have the decency to tell me we had company… I almost walked down stairs like this”
“Girls shush, stay here, I’ll be right back” Their mother replied.
“WHAT!!!!” Replied Adrian with a puzzled look at Christine.
30 minutes later the girls were officially late for work and it was likely that they would not be going today.
Just as the girls were getting impatient and hungry they were called downstairs.
“Girls sit down please, this man has something very important he has to tell you.”
“Well girls, it seems that your mothers greatest fears and our greatest hope has become a reality. You probably do not know much about your father, and that may be a good thing but, if you were to believe anything about your father I would have it be this…….. This may be difficult but try to understand….your father was a direct descendant of a wizard blood line almost completely lost. Because of you two it is possible that that blood line may rise again”
“Professor please, get to the point” Minerva interrupted
“Well since it seems we are in a hurry I will make this short…well why don’t you read for yourselves” He hands them two envelopes. The girls read the letters and then re-read them. *In Unison*
“You gotta be kidding me”
“On the contrary, the problem with this blood line is that your powers do not show up until you are told you have them and seeing that you have been told, your powers should show themselves within a few days. I only ask that you be careful not to use them until properly instructed. Also I ask that you purchase everything you will need and be ready far a new school year at Hogwarts. Please…try to enjoy the rest of your summer.”
“Yeah all six days of it” Adrian Replied with a slight attitude.
“Well Professor we must be going, one more house to visit… Goodbye girls have fun shopping at Diagon Alley, and please be careful, now that you know what you are it is not long before dark wizards find out.”

Well that’s it for the first chapter, hope you liked it. If I receive at least 10 reviews I will continue writing. The second chapter is already written but I decided not to post it until I see if this one sunk or swum, crashed and burned or did ok. Well again R&R and the next chapter will probably be up by Thursday.
