PROLOGUE

Pairings: Buffy/Harry Willow/Ron
SEPTEMBER 1981
\"Are you sure about this?\" the dark figure asked James and Lily Potter. James was playing with his one year old son, Harry while Lily was chasing their yea year daughter all over the house. Their friend had come to visit and due to the recent news that Voldemort was now after Harry as well as James, they were forced to go into hiding.
\" sur sure. Of course, a memory charm will have to be used on her,\" Lily said, tears beginning to form in her eyes. Her daughter was a carbon copy of her, except that she had James\' eyes, while Harry was a carbon copy of James, except with Lily\'s eyes.
\"I\'ll make sure she\'ll get a good home. I have connections in Sunnydale, California and the Hellmouth should provide good cover for her so that Voldemort won\'t go looking for her,\" the figure spoke mysteriously. Suddenly, a pain came across his arm.
\"Voldemort summoning you again?\" James asked their friend. The figure just nodded. After agreeing on a few more details, their friend Disapparated from Godric Hollow and appeared in front of Voldemort. There were not that many Death Eaters in the room, which suggested that the master had only summoned him personally. The dark figure beckoned the new arrival to approach the throne.
\"Have you managed to locate them yet, Angelus?\" Voldemort hissed. Angel, putting on his evil vampire act for the master, shook his head no. \"And why not?\" the dark lord hissed angrily, brandishing his wand.
\"Dumbledore put them under the Fidelius Charm. My guess is their Marauder friend, Sirius Black is going to be their Secret Keeper, whatever that is,\" Angelus snarled, but also remembering to tread lightly. Even though he was a vampire and before he was cursed with the soul loved to torture, Voldemort surpassed him in torturing skills and being a vampire does not make one immune from the Cruciatus Curse. At this news, Voldemort merely chuckled.
\"Trust me that it won\'t be that idiot Black,\" Voldemort said. At this, Angel was confused. Last time he was let in on the details of the charm, it was believed that Black was going to be their Secret Keeper. If not him, then who? And if not him, a Death Eater? Inwardly, Angel shuddered at this information. He had to warn James and Lily as soon as possible...if he got the chance. Their daughter was being delivered to him by Remus Lupin, instead of Angel picking her up because by now the charm would probably be in effect.
Angel hoped for more information, but Voldemort did not reveal the identity of the traitor and Angel never got a chance to warn the Potters because right after Willow had been delivered into his custody, Voldemort struck Godric Hollow and the Potters, except Harry, were dead. Angel could not figure out how Harry had managed to survive with nothing but a scar. Not even vampires...well, except master vampires like the rumored Master of Sunnydale and Dracula, could survive the Killing Curse. He never got the chance to mourn because he had to deliver Willow to the home of Sheila and Ira Rosenberg right away.
Spoilers for Chapter 1:
Buffy and Willow both have strange and erotic dreams.
Takes place around season 5-6 of Buffy (year changed around to fit) and after OOTP.
Lucius Malfoy finds out about Voldemort\'s daughter\'s whereabouts.
