Prologue
If I can just drift far enough, I can forget this terror. The pain, the humiliation, their anger over my silence... Oh please release me from this nightmare! I want to walk in my garden...
It\'s green there, and so fragrant. Every where I turn is color, explosions of the most beautiful flowers and brilliant greens. The carpet of ferns and grasses is so cool on my bare feet, and the sun beats down on my face.
I approach a new tree, oddly low and dark. The sounds of birds and the rush of water is fading, and the crushing silence threatens....
