Once again... a wonderful chapter. I honestly think that your Hermione is interesting. So many writers make her an eternal wallflower who lives in libraries OR an OOC Mary Sue. I find that she has great depth of character and shows very real reactions to events in her life. No one walks out of a traumatic event and is exactly the same. As for your Severus, he\'s simply delicious. I am a big Severus fan and enjoy the snap (as in crisp wit) with which you have written him. This story is excellent!

Huzzar, Chapter 23! How pleasing to find that Snape had not left
her in the lurch! I did keep thinking that Granger was going to
smash the mini tree as well ... yes, I am odd.
Waiting patiently for those other chapters ... Keep up the great
work and enjoy the holiday festivities.

Oh my God! What an excellent chapter! I have to say, again it\'s the highlight of the night! I knew we had a spooky kinda connection- retail managers are a ste loe lot... I agree about the Christmas music, though I was originally the one who made us listen to it. Hey, I LIKE the soundtrack from \"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!\" And, yes, I do write fan fiction, but I haven\'t posted yet \'cause my stories always end up changing direction halfway through, so I want to get at least one pretty much done before I post it. I\'ve got, like, twelve started though. I\'m hoping to get something up before Christmas. Anyway- ANOTHER WONDERFUL CHAPTER!!!!! Please update quickly- I\'m addicted!

I hate to be the stereotypical SS/HG ship person, but... I saw your note to another reviewer and am begging you to make the LM/HG thing a prequel. After Severus and Hermione (sort-of) getting together, don\'t send her off to Lucius! And if you would like a bribe... there might be free cookies involved! ;-)

Chapter 23 was FABULOUS!!! I am so glad that everything is working out the way that it should!!! I can only imagine how strong their relationship could become, which brings me to this.....
I do believe that you would do a fabulous job either way & I would read your story prequel or sequel & know that it would be a good read!!! BUT...........
I think it would be nice to see their relationship go on so I would most want to see a sequel. A prequel does have its merits, but considering the situation I think writing a sequel would have more room for growth & variety not only with the charachters, but with your writing. There are so many other charachters that can be factored into a sequel that would be there as a support mechanism for Hermione as well as Severus. You could dedicate a chapter or 2 to the situation with Lucius, almost a mini prequel in the sequel. I would really love to see you write her telling Severus about that time in her life, giving her the opportunity to open up her heart & spirit to him while he would be able to grow in understanding & find that their Love for each other can heal both of them.
In the prequel we would get the past information, but I think you would be more limited mainly because of Hermione\'s personality. She had so much hurt, anger & pain that she wouldn\'t have reached out to others in her past so you would really only have her & Lucius to work with. I do believe that you could take the limitation & turn it into a fabulous yet sad story. I think part of me just doesn\'t want to see Hermione have to go through so much hurt alone, knowing what I know of this story.
I hope that all makes sense & I want you to know that I will read your next story which ever way you choose to go with it!!! You write what you want & feel the most comfortable with. With what you have written in this story I know that you have the ability to give the next one a life of its own!!! Which ever you decide to do, PLEEEEEEEEEEASE l mel me & let me know when you post it Deb >^..^<
