What a truly evil cliffhanger! I love the passion with which you describe his feelings. He\'s a very intense character and it makes perfect sense that his feelings would be equally intense. I\'m waiting on the edge of my seat for an update.

hmmm....i\'m definitely intrigued. can\'t wait to see where this dark path leads, other than to the edge of the lake. and you\'re extremely adept at guilt, might i add, noting the 3000 hits and comparatively few comments. of course, i\'m extremely susceptible to guilt trips as my mother israveravel agent for them.

He probably would have developed frostbite from the cold, not gangrene. Gangrene is what you get when open wounds get infected.
