I really want to thank you all for reviewing The Lion\'s Serpent, but the truth of the matter is, I am just a beginner at this. This was my very first story and it\'s been a while since I first started writing it. I look back to the beginning and I think it could use a lot of work. I think I\'ve progessed slightly as a writer and I really love this fic so I want it to be great. Just the thought of rewriting, editing, and the long hours required to polish this fic up really discourages me. I have not abandoned it. I think it would be a sad failure if I did. So I hope people will still read this when I am finally ready to finish it .. (hopefully that will be soon)

It\'s been months and i still am going back and rereading this fic cause though there is some very talented work out there yours has captured the very meaning of imagination. (and i have never told anyone that before) Very time i reread this fic i am awestruck by your talent and skill for fan fic writing. And every time i read it am am excited by the cliffys. Well reasons i love your fic because it is A W E S O M E! ! ! ! ! ! and if you have abandoned this fic (though i wouldn\'t know why) please just leave a little message why or what ever

WOW! Your fic is FANTASTIC. I have been reading Harry Potter fanfics for a really long time now, but you are the second person I ever reviewed for! (so, please take it as a huge compliment.)
Well, one thing first, so its out of the way: I don\'t know if you rectified it in the mean time (then ignore this, I read the fic quite some time ago and you said in last A/N you ed ted to go back and correct any mistakes.). In the first few chapters, your punctuation (,\" \" or ! ?) was a bit out of place, like the ? at the end of the line instead of behind the actual question. But no biggie, cause its something you can easily change, while your style is great the way it is.
OK, I won\'t review to bug you for quick updates, instead I want to tell you why I enjoyed your fic so much. (this might take a while :} )
1) Your characters aren\'t OCC (easteast they don\'t jump each other after 7 years of loathing. Slowly but surely it is creaping up on them though. Very believable!)
2) You obviously have a nice plot going there that is realistic (well, Potteruniverse-realistic at least!)
3) The story I very imaginative, very distinguishable like no other HG-SS I\'ve ever read (yes, its been quite a few.)
4) It is simply gripping. I couldn\'t stop reading until the very last sentence. Was a bit devastated that I now had to wait for next chapter. But I will wait pariently. Don\'t let yourself get rushed. You obviously put a lot of time and energy into writing this and I wouldn\'t want your wonderful style to be diminished because you feel the preasure to update! So, go nice and easy on yourself, but don\'t forget there are people out there that are really looking forward for an add on, too.
Finally, at the end of an awfully long review *grins sheepishly for bad habit*
Keep up the wonderful work! You truly are gifted (who needs Rowling when you are around? ;p )

But if you think your story needs work, hey, I can\'t stop you. ;)
I just think you should know that your story has greatly inspired me enough to post my own work on ff.net.
I\'m Professor-Hermione-Snape there. Without this fic, I wouldn\'t be posting my own work at all. I hope you
