I don\'t understand why a major effort was not made to rescue Severus right away. He had been tortured for months and when they discovered the truth about his loyalty, he should have been liberated immediately. I am peeved at your characters. Shame on them. And now he is in even more peril!

Hello Jenny!!! Great Chapter (as always)...well, worth the wait: although as you know if it had been much longer I would\'ve simply continued to bug you :o) What\'s Hermione\'s animal going to be?! HOLY CRAP!!! HOLY CRAP!!! HOLY CRAP!!! Get him out of there, that poor man doesn\'t deserve this!!! it seems unlikely to me that severus would actually go through with it... i would expect him to pretend he had done it and have the grangers go into hiding or something...
although i would believe it iey hey had to tell hermione that it had happened so that she would believe it if questioned... and the grangers certainly would be safer with voldemort thinking they were dead already -- maybe they could go live in the states? but that\'s not how you wrote it :(
