Hi, I really liked your sequel to this with female Harry, but I don't see it posted anymore. Did you take it down?
Interesting read but pretty grim ending. McGonagall comes off kinda dumb in the last chapter. She knows Harry is under compulsions, but stops to talk to him while in Snape's house instead of stunning him and taking him somewhere safer. She also should have known not to trust Dudley at all. He was too dumb and too deluded to not have said some really suspiscious stuff while with her and Legilimency should have revealed the rest
This has been an absolutely fantastic read. I am desperate to know more about the war and the world and all of the other characters.
THere are excellent examples in this story on how to show you the world instead of just describing it, by giving you only the news glimpses Harry learns from listening to the TV under the stairs, to reading the Daily Prophet, from hearing about the resistance/rebellion.
I cheered outloud whenever Professor Mcgonagall was seen/mentioned.
The characters are well fleshed out and there are special insights into what makes them tick, I never in my dreams thought I'd applaud Dudley or feel pity for Vernon Dursley's lack of comprehension/imagination.
There are specactular heroes in this series, too many to mention and all of them trying.
There is a special scene between Harry and Luna where Luna says "Thank you" to Harry. And Harry has to explain that she's thanking him for trying. Even though he failed to save the world. Very special.
