Ouch that's nasty. Hope your feeling better soon but that does sound serious. Always a problem with infections that are allowed to fester. Take all the time you need to get sorted out. No hurry on the story as we'll wait until your ready. Best wishes.

On that chapter that's one cat definitely debagged. Now he has to explain why he thinks their relationship has no future in terms of his arranged marriage.

I like the irony that Hermione thinks Draco's cast the contraption spell because he's thinking of them having sex again rather than as a belated move because he didn't take any precaution before. Although of course she might have, either magic or muggle. ;) Which she might have been favourable to apart from what she's interpreting about his attitude. Hopefully they will take to each other before the misunderstanding gets deeper.

With the making of the magic duplication of the necklace while Hermione is a very powerful mage is there any danger of Dimitra Black detecting it? Don't think anything has been said about her ability but she does come from a powerful family so it shouldn't be ruled out, although there is no sign she detected the spell being cast. Especially since the couple having passed themselves off as Lovegoods she would probably expect them to be mages.

Well she was warned. ;) Whether its a touch of prophecy or her subconscious remembering what she had read about the ship. I wonder if Hermione will remember before the ship hits the iceberg. Doing so would give them some time to prepare but would also be shattering for them as they would know of the coming disaster but being unable to prevent it. [At least unless their willing to risk some very dramatic butterflies, which would probably wipe them from existence, creating its own paradox.]

Good passion scene. :) I wonder at what point they, especially Draco, will start thinking about what to do when they get back home. Going to be especially difficult if their returned to the exact time and place they disappeared from, which means no one else will have any idea their actually gone anywhere.

So far I like it (the smut was pretty well done).

The only ding I have is...how does Hermione, Britsh-born muggle-raised bookworm, NOT know about the Titanic, the most famous civilian maritime disaster in recorded history? O_o

Hi thanks for the reply. I knew about the Titanic in part from an earlier film and also a strong interest in history so quite possibly Hermione has only had a passing contact with the story that she's forgotten about for the moment, although it sounds like it rings a bell at the back of her mind.

Sounds like their all going to end up on the ship and Hermione and Draco will be getting back home at some point. By which time their relationship could be a lot strong so their prepared to face the music over it as a lot of people, not just on the Malfoy side are likely to be unhappy.

Does make me think. When the ship and iceberg met I wonder if any powerful mages would actually die. Even given the rules about avoiding displaying magic in the muggle world there are ways of doing things subtly even ignoring if its a matter of life or death I can see most mages throwing that rule out of the window. Hope Dimitra Black and Robert make it OK. Mind you powerful mages especially are likely to have 1st class tickets and hence have a much better chance of getting a lifeboat spot.

Not sure of the maths but suspect Draco may have paid over the odds for those tickets. £870 was a hell of a lot of money in those days, but then he can afford it.

Anyway thanks again for a good story with an interesting twist. Still not really sure about that long a jump effectively means the present and hence future is frozen. That would suggest if they failed to get back pretty much the end of the universe wouldn't it? Can see that they would automatically – or with a bit of planning – go back to the moment they disappeared, although that could leave some important problems with explaining. ;)

What can I say... I truly love it! I've read it all in one sitting. I just couldn't stop reading it. You've managed to keep a reader captivated for each and every moment of the story. A fine accomplishment that few can ever hope to achieve. What's even more amazing is that you've managed to write an interesting story with interesting characters that work so good towards their innate characterizations in the original stories. But they are beginning to grow beyond what they started as. Draco and Hermione still have their innate personalities, and fiestieniss. But slowly and surely they are growing as people trough the events you've created for us. They are interesting, likeable and you've made me wanting to read more about them. Just amazing. Bloody amazing.

I can't wait to read about what happens next. How they manage to fit in... What they are going to to once they realize what a ship named Titanic implies... How they are going to grow as people... What obstacles they have to overcome...

I can also truly feel the growing attraction they have for each other. Can't wait for the buildup, the tension, rocky patches and (considering this site) the steamy sexy and sweet stuff that we all love and hold dear for our dearly duo.

You are an amazing writer and you have a fan in me for what ever you have in store for us. A true great writer can, with his words, create a visual image in the readers' mind that gets the readers to fully emphatise, and engulf themselves in the story and events. And you succeeded admirably in this. From the first to the last word, I am on the tip of my seat. I truly can't wait to read the rest.

Whatever happens in the future, know this; you are a great storyteller.

Sincerely,

Well I was wondering why there was food in the house and clothing etc but no sign of anyone present but that moving from place to place fixed that. ;)

They have found both stones, or possibly their earlier versions but I'm rather surprised that Hermione hasn't twigged where she's heard of the Titanic before given its notoriety.  Draco possibly given his families obsession with being isolated from the muggle world, despite the fact it was the cause of a family tragedy, but Hermione should know. Although I wonder if one effect of them being in the past is that the Malfoy's don't end up sailing on it?
