Hi, I just wanted to say that this story is amazing! To be honest, I first read this because I was interested in the pairing, which is one I rarely see, and was hoping for some *hem-hem* lemons. Instead I ended up reading a story with very dark themes, met a Harry with a lot more emotional turmoil than seen in canon, an implied Sirius/Harry (which is very well done by the way), and OotP members that I respect highly. I'm used to reading the outright bashing of these characters but I was filled with the deepest respect towards Mad-Eye, Remus, Neville, and the Weasleys that doesn't even compare to canon. The characters are written as more than 2D, and I applaud you. I'm recommending this story on my Tumblr blog (Littwink). Please check it out, but if you don't want this posted, please tell me and I will delete it. Thank you so much for creating this story!

Thank you for your incredible new chapter! I'm so curious whether Harry will be able to get Sirius back? Will he be the same if he returns? I wonder why the Weasleys never did anything about the abuse Harry suffered? Why was Dumbledore given such unlimited control over Harry? Fabulous update! Can't wait to see what will happen next!

Compelling beginning!

Poor, poor Harry! Please, please let him find the way to bring Sirius back! Harry shouldn't have to give up the only person, besides his parents, who has ever cared about him. Excellent beginning to your incredible story! Can't wait to see what will happen next!

Awesome start to a story. I love stories where Moody is helping protect Harry. Can't wait for more.

Poor, sweet Harry. I'm very glad to see Alastor as one of his protectors, and speaking up very bluntly about the mess Albus made, and the fact that Snape didn't teach him a darn thing. I wonder how long it would take to discover more about Sirius' comment about bringing him back....hopefully there will be some clue in the will and he and Remus can then find something. Do you do Horcrux in your universe or is Harry safe from the Walk of Doom? Good but sad start, and a sneaking feeling it will get much worse before it is better. Its a tough balance, writing about depression to the point of concern and danger and still maintaining sympathetic feelings rather than impatience. Now I'm wondering, too, why Harry could bring him back, if *only* Harry could bring him back, and what their relationship really was -- or could be. ;) Because, of course, we're on AFF.
