I KNEW IT!!!

Well, let us start with the chapter in general. I was impressed again, by the length, of course and how ...harmonious they managed to be together. Nice to read - and one scene without discord ...or so I thought. And then you hit us with that last sentence. So now I've got questions...and questions. And then some. Now they've most certainly something to talk about. So, to get started, I forsee an agrument. Or lots of questions - depending on Hermione's reaction - instinct vs. tought and such. He wrote the book - is there only this one copy or has it been some bigger edition? - he did bother with an alias, after all. Did he place the binding enchantment himself? If so, whith which specifics, what was the intent and why not use the passphrase? Even were it something embarassing, that could have been said, when she was asleep. I seem to remember him saying something like the words th release the binding are only known to the author. At least, I think, the wards would have been his own, and that was how he came upon her taking the book in the first place. Next possibility - he didn't place the binding, but then, who? Dumbledore? Then the intention would be somewhat clearer. Different question, was the whole binding planned or truly accidential? It is a possibility, of course, that it was all part of some "evil plan" - Slytherin and all that - but I don't quite believe, he's that person. On the other hand, we don't know, when he wrote that, so he might just have been. Or it may have been simply recognising and making use of an opportunity. I find it unlikely that he could have predicted the current results. On to further thoughts, good on him, that he told her instead of her finding out by some other means - I think the reaction in the latter case would be rather more violent, than it will be in the situation you left us with. And I have to say, personally I did not see this coming, so good on you. In hindsight, one must admit, his expertise on the fields necessary for that book cannot be in doubt. To finish this (extraordinarily rambling and longwinded) review, I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Thank you for this :)

This was a very sensual chapter. And it ended on a more intimate note. Nice combination. I rarely review stories here but I just wanted to let you know I'm enjoying this one a lot. SS/HG fanfiction has long been a guilty pleasure of mine. After Alan Rickman's passing I didn't think I could bring myself to read it anymore. But your humor has helped get me over that hurdle. To a point. I'll still be avoiding anything too depressing for awhile. Now I'm curious to see if Hermione realizes why Alan's voice sounds so familiar. Is there a connection or was that just a one off? Either way I can't wait to read more.
