Very clever plot for sure. Excellent job of characterization. Really enjoyed every little "back story" for each main couple. Hermione was very different than usual I thought. I never would have thought of Theodore Nott. Or for him "hiding" as quiet and not very strong when really he was very decisive and intelligent. Perfect for Hermione. Ron was great fun right to the "30 years later" end.

I keep having a feeling of deja vu while reading this. Not sure if it's because this is a re-posting(?), or because it's based on elements from other fanfics, as your disclaimer states. Regardless, this is an interesting take on the Harry Realizes He's Been Manipulated By Dumbledore And Takes Charge Of His Own Life trope (or is "meme" the word?). Ron is behaving in an immature, jealous and envious manner, as is common in fanfic, but thank goodness Hermione is her usual sensible, level-headed self.
