wow. Hermione really dodged the bullet with almost having to marry the village elder, didn't she. Good thing Severus insisted she talk with Draco, and that Draco made it so quickly.
The village has a strange take on marriage I simply don't understand yet. Perhaps I will in time.
Hermione needs to be less stubborn about house-elves -a fault that is interesting to watch tackled in any HP fic including her. Certainly Elves shouldn't be mistreated to the point of Dobby, and coverings shouldn't be Gross, but Hermione needs to understand that in trying to Force her views on the elves as a whole she is just as "bad" as cruel owners. Forced isn't free.
Loved how Harry apparently described Draco. "Like the moon." Wonderful.
Did Hermione intentionally ignore how much Draco has wanted her and for how long? She didn't comment... which makes me think she's either overlooking or ignoring the intensity in him. Cause I'm all, like, WOW!
Interesting take with the Healing and Dark spells. Very intriguing when it comes to the village's stance too. Look forward to seeing more on that.
