Great idea for a story. Nice rituals also. Thank you for introducing Harry to some Wizarding culture. There's very little of it in the books. Instead they follow the regular calendar, Christmas and Easter holidays!? I also appreciate that it's older traditions and beliefs. Seems the Weasleys only care about food, robes and quiddich. Also money and heroes if you count Ginny. Too bad Sirius wasn't around long enough to teach him about his heritage. Hits a sore spot with me. My people are losing our native tongue and many traditions,too.
