I cried (litterally cried) when Severus' mother died and then he says "no more cold showers for this man" and that made me laugh. Excellent job! I could picture Tobias, the bastard he was, beating his wife and child. I saw it in my mind like it was actually happening! Bloody brilliant work!

Oh nonononono!! The Beatles did a cover of this song back in the Sixties (very poorly, IMO), but the song is from "The Music Man," music and lyrics by Meredith Willson. It was sung originally by Barbara Cook, on Broadway, and by Shirley Jones in the movie.
Which of course has nothing to do with this story, which I am enjoying, by the way. :-)

One word for this chapter: perfect. The part about Eileen was so touching! Dudley and Harry are gonna have fun. The Evans seans nice people. Grandparents house is always nice. Kisses.
