Good job of building up the tension. I like that you didn't have them dive right into the sack.

I think I've heard of this creature before, but I could be mistaken. Are you going to have them convey any more of the "rules"?

On a constructive note: using ALL CAPITALS, when you want to emphasize a word, can be distracting - and that breaks the flow of the story. You might want to try italics, or just stick with the exclamation mark, as it is pretty universal. "Woah, I just saw an !, they must have really meant that."
Just a suggestion. Otherwise, I'm gonna keep on followin'.

Good chapter, but I do want to point out that the song "Lullaby" was actually written and performed by Billy Joel, yes the acappella group did it too, but it is actually Billy Joel's song so you might want to give him credit for using his song. Otherwise, enjoying the story.

The end was really cute.
