please update! :)

So, I am confused. By a lot of things actually,like what has Harry been doing for two years? And why does it seem like he is attending Death Eater meetings at the very beginning?
But, what I really want to know is why Harry is remembering what it is like to be held by them but the brief mental glimpse we get of them seems like they never had anything but their canon relationship with him?
