Ouch. :winces: Why should I not be surprised that Dumbledore would try something like that while KNOWING the likely downfalls? Congrats though on managing a believable "nice old man" paired with his cruel "anything for the greater good" traits. Really impressive. As in the books I both like and dislike him. Kudos.

Poor Severus... he gets delegated the worst tasks. But...! at least they weren't going at it on his desk! :laughs: He's more fortunate than Minerva in that matter. :convulses in giggles: Of course She has no idea... and if she walked in on even what Severus just did it could possibly give her a heart attack right there. I just want to give you kudos on that chapter. You wrote it beautifully, because it was clear that, despite his breakdown which was explained, that was two adults having a conversation about adult topics. It could easily have disintegrated if not written well, and you did a heck of a job on it! Brava, my dear!

This story is amazing... I absolutely love it and the plot thus far.

Draco's getting snarky, is it his Deatheaters mark?

Even though this one was kind of sad, I like the lesson it teaches. There is really no reason a person should let their feelings get the better of them. You never know what you can lose or when. I like that you put in here. With the kind of relationship Draco had with Astoria he would have never learned that life lesson when it came to jealousy.
I also enjoyed how you showed Snape's feelings on the matter. I feeling that given the situation Snaps would really react that way. He was devastated by Lily's death, and I hope he does get to move on from that in your fanfiction. Hi think he deserved happiness, even if that's not how life really works. Look forward to the next update! :)
