Yay!!!! An early Christmas present. This was what I had been waiting for all this time. Finally, after much sexy build-up.
Loved the tattoo part and the reference to the Ugly Duckling. I just love how Draco is willing to do and be anything for Hermione. The war has really shaped him for the better.
At the end, he whispered "I love you", didn't he?? Just hope Hermione realizes soon.

I'm glad you're focusing on the main pairing; I just can't help but be curious what everyone else is doing and it bugs me when friends like Luna and Neville who would likely not let their first friends fall to the wayside for Anything are glossed over in fanfics.

Loved the tattoos and their tattooing. Draco with dragons might be overdone but its always a good mix in my book. The swan with that particular story really works well for Hermione, and I'm sad to say I've never thought of it even in passing before now. I love how Draco used it to segwey into swan mating habits even if Hermione glossed over the comment. The important thing is he was able to Say it, and that she's not likely to forget it. In fact... he gave a lot of clues as to how long he wants her, but her self-esteem on that front mixed with their arrangement seems to be making her a mite oblivious on that front even as she is hopeful. Silly girl.
