I really like the premise and the beginning. I could totally feel harry's apathy and wish for oblivion.
I'm conflicted though on the bonding and expectation that "poof, we're bonded now. No need to acknowledge the hurt, humiliation, bullying, malice, abuse of power and scorn we both have delivered unto you Harry. Nothing to see here, let's move along"
Yes, after such traumatic events in the war, past hurts might seem insignificant, but it just seems too neat and tidy you know? Again, I'm conflicted. I want Harry happy and loved but from personal experience, bullying leaves deep scars and intense mistrust. Sure, one can put it in the past, but trusting my former abusers, opening up and being vulnerable for them to crush once again, not so much. Trust and forgiveness are earned, not just bestowed from outside sources IMHO.
I guess you're doing something right as a writer because I'm totally engaged and thinking about these characters :-)

eeeek!!!!! Soooo I was a little apprehensive about reading this(if you see my most recent review to Sanctuary you'll understand why.) but I decided to give it a whirl and omg I love it!
