I know what Sirius was lying about! He was lying about not knowing how to teach Harry to defend himself. In fact, it sounds like Sirius was laying the groundwork for Harry talking to Dumbledore again. Great update!

A swift in the pants would have sufficed but it'll do.
Dash should be too large at this point to be carried.
