I'm sorry but nothing of this story makes sense.... a few wizards against thousands if not millions of non-magicals? No, they would not win that fight, no matter how many Imperius or other spells they used.
They would be wiped out within a few days as the non-magicals figured out how to block magic from areas.

The story is rather intense. Very well done in that regard. You shouldn't be too concerned with the length of certain chapters. I've read books where there were some of the chapters that were one or two sentences long. It adds to the tension in a way having too many words or even the wrong words can detract from it. Excellent work and I can't wait to read more soon.

Intriguing! waiting for more! I think the ff's you wrote as Lady Jane (BitterSweet and You Won't Know) are really dark and if this is as dark then it's gotta be good.
