I'm still loving this story with it's unusual, but tantalising pairing!! Thanks for all your hard work on this fic!!

I could not for the life of me figure out how to review since they changed the site. I had resigned myself to finding this story on another site and leaving a review there until I found the link. I have no idea how I overlooked it before but finally. I'm so excited for the return of this story. I love it. It has replaced ..'Drackens' as my favorite since you posted it. There are just not enough Rabastan/Harry stories. Anyway I loved the byplay between Harry and rabastan, I always miss their interaction when Harry is at school. Wonderful job, can't wait to read more!

So I have finally started this story. I am a huge fan of Ruse of the Drackens so it should come as no surprise that only one chapter in and I am hooked.

I think I'm in love o.o The dialogue is so on point, the characters are well developed, and the storyline makes me swoon. <3 Glad to see this is something you're actively updating!

So good. Sorry but I wish you would keep Harry "grey". I think Harry's true good nature would keep him from turning evil. I would like to think he is slooowly bringing the LesStrange's & Malfoy's etc away from pure horrors to just bad men or something. Dumbledoreis kind a twisty guy himself...doing whatever it takes to get what he wants. He can say whatever he wants but the "greater good" amounts to more power and wealth for Dumbledore. You would think with her brains, at least Hermione would see that they were wrong to wreck Harry's things and that they should be liable for the expense. They could ssk Harry to pay back Lucius over a longer time therefore easier to do. Just because he has money doesn't mean he should pay for their stupidity in trying to get revenge.

Poor Harry, I can't just imagine how hectic and overwhelming it must be for him and all of his duties, but hopefully he'll get through it with his mentality intacted 😉 please update chapter 13 soon.

As always a wonderful chapter. So I'm going to guess the letters that had subtle compulsion spells were from Dumbledore. And I guess maybe Remus is simply pretending to believe Dumbledore's theory of Harry being cursed since he seems to be okay with it. I'm not sure if that's the way you're playing it because it does get a bit confusing when Remus believes in Harry and wants whats best for him, but then in a scene several chapters later with Dumbledore, he begins to believe that Harry is under some potion or curse and then in this last chapter Remus is back to believing in Harry and reassuring him of his support. After looking over the scene and then the reuniting scene in this chapter, I guess Remus was simply overreacting, but Remus seemed to be more understanding of Harry's situation than anyone else. I'm guessing Harry lied about sending letters to Remus about the arrangements and how he was doing because if that was true, I'm pretty sure Remus wouldn't react in such a way to believe in Dumbledore's theory. There's just a lot of things happening and even the smallest of details, if not completely clarified get confusing and lost, which is why I ask questions for clarity. I just feel like Remus's character is somewhat all over the place in the story, I'm not sure where he stands because it seems like he's swinging back and forth in his beliefs instead of simply being conflicted.

Definitely love Harry telling off Hermione and Ginny as well as of course Daphne. Can't wait to see how everything comes together. Also I hope Harry believes Neville, because I think Harry while he has his new friends, he needs a familiar face who can understand the pressures and traditions of being a pureblood lord. Bummer that there won't be another chapter until the New Year, but it's understandable that you need a break and you also have a few other stories in progress. Though I hope for the epilogue of the Harry/Clint story sometime soon. Anyway, keep up the good work and enjoy your break.

Well so happy to see an update !!!!!! and enjoy your long break !!!!! thanks for the update!!!!! Ras needs to stop with acting like a little child !!!!!! Harry is going to get tired of that soon if he doesn't .....loved it !!!!!! no updates on my Dracken's before your break ?????

Sad about waiting for New Year for another update but excited about this chapter and your awesome update schedule for Sept. and Oct. nonetheless! Loved the Harry/Rabastan interaction over lunch and the Remy/Harry bonding time.

I am so glad Theo is waiting for the right moment to inform Daphne of the breakage of the contract! I am almost salivating at the moment when Daphne is finally told and her making a huge scene! I hope it happens in the Great Hall, where everyone can see her. Or maybe in front of some big influential people, where they can see Theo finally getting a backbone and removing such a disgrace from being his betrothed! I cannot wait for this scene to happen! :D

And I am so glad Harry managed to talk some sense into Rabastan before he had to leave; it would have been awful for another extended fight to happen between them.

And I also love how kind Harry was to Torey, him being kind to house elves are something that I dearly love about Harry! I cannot read a story that has been treating house elves like dirt, it just doesn't seem true to Harry's character. :D

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I've aways imagined Lucius getting fed up with Harry's treatment to the house elves and forbids him from using any Malfoy house elves and getting Xerses to do the same. In follow up to that insane order, Harry would look enraged for one moment before grinning deviously and calling for Dobby. I always imagine this happening whenever Lucius or Xerses make a comment about how house elves should be treated. I hope Dobby does make an appearance the story. Something else that I always imagine with this is Harry giving Dobby a galleon or two as payment for his service, I can just imagine the strokes Lucius and Xerses will have at the sight of Harry paying a house elf! x'D

And I love that we got some extra detail to what that drunk wizard did in the Muggle town, he really does deserve Azkaban. And I also love that Harry will be planning his proposal to cover every corner in order to get people to agree with him that Dementors need to go. I cannot wait to see what he finds in his research! :D

And one more thing before I end this review off, I cannot believe Ginny tried to trick Harry into trusting her by telling him that she loved him! As if by telling him her 'feelings', he would suddenly trust them and place everything he has in her hands! I get the feeling that she will not give up on trying to get Harry for herself, I can just imagine her, Hermione, and Ron planning something to get Harry to marry her instead of 'Aceline'.

And with that, I thank you for another wonderful chapter. I cannot believe how you managed to both write and edit this chapter with how busy you were with everything. Thank you for taking the time to do this, take care of yourself this November and enjoy your break from writing! :D
